Poverty issues will obviously affect the people’s living standards and the economic construction of the region in which they are located.At the same time,they will restrict the development of the country and the overall economic environment of the society,thereby affecting the stability of the country.How to eliminate regional poverty in a scientific and effective manner is a problem that all developing countries must face when they move toward developed countries.As the largest developing country in the world,my country will inevitably face the problem of regional poverty on the road to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.In this context,all sectors of society are jointly participating in poverty alleviation.Among them,colleges and universities play an important role in poverty alleviation by giving full play to their advantages in education,talents,and intelligence,and private colleges and universities,as an important part of higher education,must also exert themselves Advantages and contribute to poverty alleviation work.2017,In order to promote higher education institutions to further utilize their advantages,strengthen counterpart assistance in deeply impoverished counties,and help deeply impoverished counties to successfully win the battle against poverty,relevant provincial departments have successively issued "Opinions on Further Accelerating Poverty Alleviation in Deeply Impoverished Counties" and " Guiding opinions on targeted work such as the Implementation Plan for Colleges and Universities in Sichuan Province to Help Deeply Poverty Counties,and Implementation Opinions on Utilizing the Advantages of Colleges and Universities to Promote Poverty Alleviation.Since the implementation of the policy,private colleges and universities in Sichuan Province have played the role of colleges serving the local area and achieved certain results in poverty alleviation.However,due to the superposition of various factors,there have been some problems in the implementation of targeted poverty alleviation,and these problems have been precisely positioned.And fundamentally solving these problems is the focus of this thesis.This research focuses on private universities participating in targeted poverty alleviation.Most private universities are application-oriented colleges and universities.When implementing targeted poverty alleviation,they are more directional and can give full play to their own characteristics in the process of poverty alleviation.However,limited by external factors,national and local policies,and their own management problems,private colleges and universities will encounter many problems in the process of participating in targeted poverty alleviation.First of all,there are few studies on targeted poverty alleviation in private colleges and universities.Secondly,there are some differences between private colleges and public colleges in terms of the nature of running a school and the source of administrative funds.However,private colleges and universities also need to play a role in serving the society and feeding the society back,so as to fill in and help the poverty alleviation work of colleges and universitiesThis article uses the survey method and interview method to summarize the effects of the targeted poverty alleviation work of 34 private colleges and universities in the province,including education poverty alleviation,human resource poverty alleviation,industrial poverty alleviation,ideological and cultural poverty alleviation,and technological poverty alleviation.Summary and analysis.According to the results of interviews and survey questionnaire data analysis,it is found that the current problems faced by private universities in Sichuan Province in participating in targeted poverty alleviation are mainly four aspects.They are the formulation and implementation of targeted poverty alleviation policies,human resources issues in targeted poverty alleviation,the lack of targeted poverty alleviation funds,and the imperfect management and assessment methods.The reasons for these problems are the failure to establish a feedback mechanism for the implementation of targeted poverty alleviation policies,the single subject of targeted poverty alleviation,the lack of experience in targeted poverty alleviation in private universities,the inadequate awareness of poverty alleviation in some private universities and the single poverty alleviation measures,and the unstable structure of the teaching staff of private universities.The division of labor between village cadres and village branch committees is not clear and private colleges and universities have their own restrictions.Based on the current poverty alleviation policy guidance documents and the above results,in response to these current issues,suggestions are made to consolidate and expand the results of poverty alleviation.First,establish a sound policy long-term mechanism,second,give full play to the resource advantages of private colleges and universities to consolidate the results of poverty alleviation,third,establish and improve the talent guarantee mechanism,and fourth,expand.Countermeasures and suggestions for fund-raising channels for poverty alleviation.Finally,the full text of the research is summarized.
