| In recent years,the quality and ability construction of head teachers in rural primary schools has attracted more and more attention.Primary school head teachers are the basis of school education and the direct person in charge of the development of various activities in the class.They play an important role in completing the quality education tasks stipulated by primary schools.However,the current work of head teachers in primary and secondary schools,especially in rural primary schools,due to various factors such as educational concept,educational resources and living environment,the competence of head teachers is not high,and the role of head teachers is not brought into full play,which affects the realization of school educational function and reduces the quality of talent training.Therefore,the competence of head teachers in primary schools is studied from different dimensions.It helps to improve the competence of head teachers.From a deeper perspective,the research on the competence of head teachers in rural primary schools will help to comprehensively improve the educational quality and level of rural primary schools,and provide a solid training platform for the overall quality development of rural primary school students.This study is based on competency theory,teacher professional development theory and other related theories,takes competency model as the analysis tool,through the collection and sorting of literature,adopts the method of questionnaire survey and field visit to rural primary schools,understands the daily work of head teachers,carries out in-depth communication and exchange with head teachers,and comprehensively evaluates and analyzes the current competency of head teachers in rural primary schools.The study found that the current rural primary school head teacher group generally has some problems,such as insufficient reserve and application ability of education and teaching knowledge and methods,insufficient class management ability,communication and coordination ability to be improved,and weak awareness of self-learning of head teachers.In view of these problems,this paper analyzes the causes from the perspective of education administrative department,school management and teachers themselves.On this basis,it is proposed that the education administrative department should strengthen the post job training of head teachers.Schools should provide strong help for the growth of head teachers and strengthen their own awareness of professional development to improve the competence of head teachers in rural primary schools. |
