Contemporary education reform and development attach importance to the concept of "people-oriented",which emphasizes that the development of students is both the starting point and the end point of school education;UNESCO also puts forward in "learning to survive" that "in the future,schools must take students as the main body and focus on the principle of" self-study "in the process of education and learning".It can be seen that at present,education attaches great importance to students' self-study ability and focuses on teaching students learning methods.As an important carrier of classroom teaching,teaching material is not only the main material for teachers to carry out teaching activities,but also the main material for students to acquire knowledge.And does the geography teaching material well reflect the idea that "it is convenient for teachers to teach and students to learn" ? Does the content design of teaching materials help students to establish a knowledge system and respect their cognitive characteristics? Does the teacher take the students as the main body in the teaching process and guide the learning correctly and effectively? These will be the questions we need to think about.Therefore,this paper takes the compulsory textbook of people's Education Edition(the third edition of the standard experimental textbook of senior high school)as an example to carry out the research on "learning materials" of geography textbook of senior high school,analyze the characteristics of "learning materials" and the survey results of its use status,find out the Countermeasures for the problems found,so that the textbook can better play the "learning materials" which are convenient for teachers' use and students' development Function.First of all,this study uses the literature analysis method to define the basic concepts of "teaching material","learning material" and "learning material",and find out the theoretical basis of "learning material" teaching material research: the main teaching theory and the basic theory of psychology.Secondly,starting from the connotation of "learning materials",this paper makes a systematic study on the required geography textbooks for senior high school in human education edition from three aspects: First,the analysis of the content design of teaching materials.This paper analyzes the characteristics of "learning materials" from four aspects: the guiding ideology of teaching materials,the system structure of teaching materials,the selection of teaching materials,the organization and presentation of contents,etc.Secondly,the investigation of the current situation of use.From the two perspectives of teachers and students,design questionnaires,carry out statistical analysis of data,understand the current situation of "learning materials" in teaching materials from practice,and find the problems that need to be solved.Third,put forward corresponding countermeasures.Based on the analysis of the content of teaching materials and the questionnaire of teachers and students,this paper puts forward the countermeasures to promote the "learning materials" of teaching materials from the perspectives of teachers' teaching and improvement of teaching materials.The main contents are as follows: in the aspect of teacher teaching,(1)Promote the change of teachers' educational idea,change the teacher's teaching concept,teaching material concept and student concept;(2)construct a variety of teaching modes suitable for subjective learning;(3)permeate the guidance of student's learning methods in teaching;(4)develop the active texts beneficial to students' learning in teaching;(5)promote the professional development of teachers and adapt to the teaching material Requirements,etc.In the aspect of textbook improvement,(1)enhance the participation of activity modules;(2)add knowledge framework to improve the ability of summary;(3)for the richness and novelty of the content,the author suggests adding more current events and geographic anecdotes.It can effectively promote the function of "learning materials" in teaching materials.At last,the paper summarizes the research,which shows that the required geography textbook of human education edition has obvious "learning material" characteristics in content design,but the function of "learning material" in use is restrained and not fully developed.The author puts forward the teaching strategy and teaching material improvement strategy to play the "learning material" function,hoping to improve the current situation of geography teaching to a certain extent.In this "student-oriented" era,this study also provides help for the "learning material" research of other subject textbooks.
