Extracurricular reading is of great significance to Chinese learning,and the curriculum standard also has clear requirements for junior high school students' extracurricular reading works.At present,there are still many problems worth exploring in Chinese extracurricular reading guidance for junior high school students in our country.At this stage,the effect of extracurricular reading for junior high school students is not ideal,and there may be many reasons for this status quo.As young teachers,they should have unique insights and correct methods in the extracurricular reading guidance to help students better carry out extracurricular reading activities.A total of twelve extracurricular reading chapters are included in the part-edited language textbooks.This is what the textbook requires students to master,and teachers should pay special attention to it.In addition,teachers should also master correct teaching methods and encourage students to read more classic works other than textbooks.Extracurricular reading instruction can be said to be an extension of Chinese classroom teaching.Good extracurricular reading is of great significance for cultivating students' Chinese literacy and cultivating ideological sentiment,and it can also have a profound impact on students' lifelong education.Through a questionnaire survey of students and teachers in several junior high schools in Wuhan,this article learned that: students will have problems such as uninteresting,single reading purpose,and improper reading methods when reading outside of class;junior high school Chinese teachers,although they can generally recognize Extracurricular reading is helpful to students,but in actual teaching,teachers do not pay enough attention to extracurricular reading,lack systematic guidance for students' extracurricular reading,and despise feedback and inspection of extracurricular reading.In response to the problems in extracurricular reading teaching,the author puts forward the following suggestions for improvement through field observation and interviews,combined with literature data: First,teachers should start from themselves,establish correct reading concepts,read more to improve self-knowledge and accomplishment for students.Create a good reading environment;secondly,teachers should find ways to stimulate students' interest in reading,recommend suitable books,guide students to develop suitable reading plans,and adopt a variety of teaching guidance;finally,teachers should bid farewell to outdated teaching methods and help students build new styles Reading mode,try interactive teaching,encourage students to use fragmented time to read,combine teaching with new media,and carry out diversified reading.
