Nowadays,reading ability becomes more and more important.On the one hand,information explosion increases the amount of information people come into contact with every day;on the other hand,fragmented reading makes reading superficial.Student age is the key period for the formation of reading ability.It is obvious that the intensive reading mode of selecting textbooks for only reading can not adapt to the development of the times.We must pay attention to students' extracurricular reading,read more books,read good books and read the whole book.The state attaches great importance to the cultivation of students' reading ability,and the compilation of textbooks is an important orientation.In 2016,the Ministry of Education organized experts to edit and publish new editions of Chinese textbooks,which were published and distributed by People's Education Publishing House.These textbooks are commonly used in primary and secondary schools throughout the country.Chinese emphasizes the reading of famous works.It is hoped that through the guided reading of masterpieces,junior middle school students can understand and read masterpieces,gain the edification of literature and art,and get the enlightenment of wisdom.This paper will explore the intrinsic relationship between the teaching of reading guides of famous works in junior high school and the extracurricular reading of junior high school students,and put forward effective teaching strategies to promote the extracurricular reading of junior high school students.This study focuses on the eleven to fifteen-year-old junior high school students,combining their unique learning environment,psychological needs,acceptance ability,reading time to develop teaching strategies and implementation of extracurricular reading for their masterpieces.There are four parts in this paper:The first part analyses the current situation of junior high students' extracurricular reading.It is clear that the junior high school students' extracurricular reading has fragment time,limited books,various ways and lacks effective supervision.Junior high students' reading psychology is interesting and random,superficial and chaotic,individualized and dependent,at the same time;it also has certain aesthetic and migratory characteristics.On this basis,it puts forward more targeted methods of leading reading of famous works and extracurricular reading.The second part analyses the current situation of masterpieces guidance reading teaching,clarifies the meaning of masterpieces points out the importance of leading Interprets the arrangement of masterpieces guidance reading in textbooks,and its advantages and disadvantages.It also finds out the misunderstandings that need to be avoided in the teaching of leading reading of famous works through investigation.The third part focuses on the relationship between masterpieces guidance reading and extracurricular reading of junior students,and proves they are mutually influential and complementary.In which,the masterpieces guidance reading lays stress on the "guide" of the teacher,the guidance of the teacher can enhance the reading interest of the junior students,and can provide directions and methods for their reading;reading masterpieces need to be carried out through the "read" of the students,and the reading is the implementation of the masterpieces,which can expand the extension of the masterpieces guidance reading.The last part puts forward the strategies of guiding junior students to read after class by masterpieces,explore the teaching strategies of masterpieces guidance and guide junior high school students to read after class effectively.
