The quality of textbooks affects the quality of teaching to a great extent.In recent years,the analysis of textbooks has been a hot research field.“Everyday Chinese”and“Experiencing Chinese”are two sets of Chinese textbooks widely used in Chinese teaching in Thailand.There are many similarities in the compilation of the textbooks,but so far there is no article for the two sets of comparative analysis of textbooks.In this paper,“Everyday Chinese”and “Experiencing Chinese”as the research object and combined with their own practical experience,this paper makes a comprehensive and systematic comparative analysis of the two sets of textbooks from the aspects of the overall structure of the textbooks,vocabulary,texts and exercises.This paper first discusses whether the two sets of textbooks follow the basic principles of textbook compilation,and analyzes whether the textbook structure,textbook layout and illustrations are reasonable and scientific.Secondly,I make a statistical analysis of the quantity of vocabulary,topic and exercise in the two sets of textbooks by referring to vocabulary syllabus,grammar syllabus and other scientific literature.Thirdly,combining the statistical results,this paper analyzes the conformity and scientific of the two sets of textbooks,and points out the advantages and disadvantages of compiling the two sets of textbooks.Finally,the analysis results are summarized in order to provide reference for the future revision of the two sets of textbooks and the compilation of other localized textbooks.
