In recent years,the state has promulgated various documents requiring the reform of the teaching staff,the promotion of teachers' teaching development,and the enhancement of teachers' educational and teaching abilities,especially young teachers.In this context,the development of teachers' teaching has become an important project and a hot issue in the field of higher education,which is actively practiced and vigorously promoted by colleges and universities.As an important part of China's higher education system,industry-specific universities have distinct characteristics because of their close ties with the industry.Its core characteristics determine that the development of young teachers' teaching not only has the common characteristics of College teachers,but also has its own characteristics.Because of the differences in subject background,personal interest,teaching years and experience,they have differences in the problems,needs and Strategies of teaching development.Therefore,it is an inevitable requirement to carry out the research on the differences of teaching development of young teachers in industry-specific universities to improve the quality of teaching staff construction in industry-specific universities,which is of great significance.Taking 150 young teachers under 40 years old in 13 teaching institutes of China University of Petroleum(East China)as the research object,this paper mainly studies the current situation,differences,influencing factors,individual teaching and organizational support evaluation of young teachers in industry-specific universities by using the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and interview.The results show that:(1)current young teachers The overall situation of teaching development is good,but it is unbalanced.The main manifestation is that young teachers have different understandings of the concept of teaching development,and there are great differences among the six dimensions of teaching development.(2)The teaching development of young teachers is influenced by demographic variables,and the differences are significant.The main manifestations are as follows: on the age factor,the differences of teaching research ability and education informatization literacy are significant;on the age factor,the differences of teaching research ability,education informatization literacy and international vision are significant;on the professional title dimension,teaching research ability and teaching practice ability are significant.(3)There are also differences in young teachers' evaluation of their own teaching development and organizational support.Most young teachers are satisfied with the current situation of individual teaching and organizational support,but there are also unsatisfactory phenomena.(4)Young teachers have different views on the relationship between teaching and scientific research.Most young teachers think that there is a promoting relationship between teaching and scientific research,but some teachers think that there is a hindrance relationship between them.At the same time,through interviews and analysis,it is found that China University of Petroleum(East China)pays close attention to the needs of teachers' development and provides diversified services in the teaching development of young teachers.In view of the differences and problems in the development of young teachers' teaching,this paper puts forward some appropriate countermeasures and suggestions for the development of young teachers' teaching in universities with industry characteristics.Mainly include: from the organizational level,to enhance the flexibility of teaching development services,meet the needs of young teachers' personalized development,strengthen the professional construction of the guidance team,and establish a high-level teaching development guidance team;from the perspective of young teachers themselves,strengthen teaching reflection,improve the initiative of teaching development,enhance the ability of education informatization,and conform to the new trend of teaching development;We should change traditional teaching concepts and strengthen academic research in teaching.
