| After the 19 th Session of National Congress of the Communist Party of China,under the guidance of fundamental task of “establishing morality and cultivating people”,the reform of ideological and political discipline in senior high school has presented a new situation.In January 2018,the Ministry of Education issued the Ideological and Political Curriculum Standards for Senior High School(2017 Edition),which clearly put forward that the leading and core of the ideological and political curriculum in senior high school should be oriented to the cultivation of students’ core literacy of discipline,the discipline and practical logic of course should be combined,the theoretical knowledge of curriculum and life concerns should be combined,so as to construct activity curriculum.Topic-based teaching,which plays an important role in constructing activity curriculum,will gradually become the trend and norm of ideological and political teaching in senior high school.However,because topic-based teaching is a new teaching method,its implementation is lack of theoretical guidance and practical experience,in addition,high school ideological and political teachers have been instilling teaching mainly with traditional teaching methods for a long time,it is common for students to accept passively,so the implementation of topic-based teaching is faced with many difficulties.In this case,studying the current situation,existing dilemmas and causes of the dilemmas,and proposing the implementation countermeasures of the topic-based teaching can provide reference for the ideological and first-line high school political teachers,and further promote the implementation of the topic-based teaching.Based on the core literacy of political discipline in senior high school as well as pedagogy theory and teaching practice,this study improves the understanding of topic-based teaching through consulting literature,starting from the connotation,characteristics,theoretical basis and practical significance of topic-based teaching.In the form of questionnaire survey,interview and classroom observation,this paper probes into the current situation of topic-based teaching in senior high school ideological and political class,and finds the specific difficulties in the implementation of topic-based teaching,further analyzes the causes of the dilemmas,puts forward the implementation strategies of topic-based teaching,and designs and implements topic-based teaching in practical teaching,so as to strive for the combination of theory and practice.Through the analysis of the questionnaire data and interview contents and the in-depth observation of the teaching practice of ideological and political curriculum in senior high school,it is found that the implementation of topic-based teaching of ideological and political curriculum in senior high school is mainly faced with the dilemma at the level of teachers and students.From the perspective of teachers,the dilemma of topic-based teaching is related to teachers’ inadequate understanding of topic-based teaching,lagging teaching concept,lack of teaching ability and imperfect teaching evaluation.From the perspective of students,the dilemma of topic-based teaching is related to the students’ insufficient ability and interest in topic exploration.Therefore,in order to solve the dilemma of topic-based teaching,this study puts forward the corresponding strategies to enhance teachers’ understanding of topic-based teaching and change teachers’ concept of topic-based teaching and improve teachers’ ability of it and to transform teachers’ evaluation of topic-based teaching from teacher level,and to enhance students’ ability to participate in topic inquiry,stimulate students’ interest to participate in topic inquiry from student level.In order to make the proposed strategy adapt to practice,this study also designs and implements topic-based teaching cases according to the requirements of the New Curriculum Standard and the content of ideological and political teaching materials in senior high school,in order to provide a more specific reference for the implementation of topic-based teaching for front-line high school ideological and political teachers. |
