The Standards for Ideological and Political Courses in Ordinary High Schools(2017 Edition and 2020Revision)(hereinafter referred to as the new curriculum standards)puts forward that ideological and political courses in high schools are a comprehensive and activity-oriented subject course,advocating the introduction,guidance and discussion of topics to promote teachers to change their teaching methods,so that teaching can be carried out in an atmosphere of teacher-student interaction,openness and democracy.It can be seen that issue-based teaching is of great significance for the implementation of the new curriculum standards and the implementation of activity-based subject courses.After the promulgation of the new curriculum standard,scholars have conducted more and more in-depth research on issue-based teaching,and the research results have been fruitful,but the current research on issue-based teaching practice is still relatively lacking,frontline teachers still face practical problems in practice,and the practical effect of issue-based teaching in normal courses needs to be improved.Therefore,it is necessary to better improve the topic-based teaching practice and implement the requirements of the new curriculum standard.The author defines the relevant concepts of topical teaching in high school ideological and political courses,grasps its theoretical basis,summarizes the characteristics of issue-based teaching,and expounds the basic requirements for implementation.Then,taking the box of "making the market play a decisive role in resource allocation" in "Economy and Society" as an example,the topic-based teaching design,classroom implementation and teaching summary were carried out,and the investigation methods of classroom observation and interview were used to find the effect of issue-based teaching practice,which was mainly manifested in the obvious results of students’ core literacy cultivation,the improvement of students’ comprehensive ability in all aspects,the effective improvement of teachers’ professional ability and literacy,and the improvement of teachers’ classroom control ability.At the same time,it is found that there are still certain problems in the practice of issue-based teaching,which are mainly reflected in the value leadership of topic setting needs to be improved,the structure of scenario creation still needs to be optimized,the difficulty of activity design is not accurate,and the evaluation method is too single.In view of the existing problems,corresponding improvement strategies are proposed: effectively set "dilemma" to highlight value leadership;Create structured issue scenarios to present gradients;Based on the academic situation,design activities of appropriate difficulty;Adhere to the combination of qualitative evaluation and quantitative evaluation.I hope that through this research,I can provide some practical suggestions for improving the practical effect of topical teaching of high school ideological and political courses,continuously promote the implementation of new curriculum standards,promote the cultivation of students’ core literacy in disciplines,and promote the further development of quality education.
