"Moral education" is the fundamental task of socialist education with Chinese characteristics.With the further promotion and development of the new curriculum reform of basic education in China,how to better cultivate students' sound personality has become an increasingly concerned problem for educators.Junior high school students are in the stage of rapid physical and mental development.Grasping this critical period and strengthening personality education can not only help students form a correct outlook on life,world outlook and values,but also lay the foundation for their lifelong development.History,with its unique humanistic historicity,has a large number of rich personality education resources.However,under the influence of traditional education ideas,teachers have not fully exploited the historical and cultural resources in textbooks,especially the resources of historical figures,which are conducive to promoting the personality education of junior high school students.Based on the current history curriculum reform and the characteristics and laws of junior high school students' physical and mental development,combined with the current situation of junior high school history teaching,through the analysis and Research on the theory of improving middle school students' personality education at home and abroad,this paper establishes the method of Cultivating Junior high school students' healthy personality through the teaching of historical figures.In the process of research,this paper focuses on the integration of junior high school history teaching materials,and studies and expounds the methods of personality cultivation from the perspectives of "planting patriotism","carrying forward the national spirit","establishing the concept of democracy and the rule of law","cherishing life" and "the community of human destiny".At the same time,this paper adapts measures to local conditions,makes full use of the rich resources of historical figures in Chongqing,combines with the moral education concept of "kindness,elegance and ambition" of our school,and carries out outdoor practice and exploration activities through the series of school-based courses of "Babu culture exploration",and carries out rich and colorful campus cultural and historical activities,so that students can practice in the campus and outdoors In practice,exploration and perception,they are imperceptibly influenced by personality education.
