The Outline of Chinese and Foreign History compiled according to the general high school history curriculum standard(2017 Edition)is the latest edition of history textbook in China.History textbook is the main material of teachers' teaching and the main materials of students' learning.The research on history textbooks has been favored by many scholars.Therefore,the study of this edition of history textbook is of great reference value to teachers' teaching.The Outline of Chinese and Foreign History not only restored the narrative framework of general history,but also gave more attention to Africa in the content of world history.China and Africa's economic cooperation has become a model of South-South cooperation,so we should also increase mutual understanding in cultural and educational aspects.Therefore,the paper chooses the African narrative content in the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History as the research content.The paper consists of four parts:The introduction mainly explains the reasons and significance of the topic selection,analyzes and summarizes the research results of African content in the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History and the research results of the world history content in the history textbooks,and puts forward the research contents and key difficulties,and finally points out the research methods and innovation points of this paper.The first chapter consists of two sections.The first section reviews the history of history textbook narration,and the second section explains the significance of the narrative research of history textbook from the aspects of teachers' teaching and students' understanding.The second chapter consists of three sections.The first section compares the proportion of African content in 2003 edition and 2017 edition of high school history curriculum standard,and finds that the proportion of African content is obviously rising,and then analyzes the specific requirements for African content compilation in 2017 edition of high school history curriculum standard.The second section analyzes the African narrative content in the United edition of the Chinese and foreign historical outline.First,the paper analyzes the overall distribution of African history in the outline of Chinese and foreign history.Secondly,the paper further analyzes the contents of African narration in textbooks from three aspects: ancient Africa,modern Africa and modern Africa.Finally,on the basis of the analysis of the first two sections,it summarizes the characteristics of African narration in the unified edition of the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History: the increase of the proportion of space,the diversity of narrative forms,the highlighting of the relationship between China and Africa,and the embodiment of multiple perspectives.In the third chapter,on the basis of the previous research,the author puts forward several problems about the African narration in the unified edition of the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History: the narrative language is too concise,lack of problem narration,annotation narration,and lack of and need to enhance teachers' teaching ability.Finally,from the perspective of teachers' teaching,there provides three countermeasures: "enrich their own historical knowledge","integrate the content of Africa in textbooks" and "dig deep into African cultural history".In a word,the research of this paper is expected to provide some shallow experience for the research of African content in the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History.
