Ancient poems are the treasures of Chinese culture and have been known for centuries for their unique linguistic,rhythmic,musical,and contextual beauty,highlighting the splendid cultural glory of the Chinese nation.As the concept of cultural confidence further deepens,ancient poems are more and more frequently entering the public's view,growing the national self-confidence and national pride of the nation,and teaching ancient poems has become the focus of attention in the education sector.The current curriculum standards have high requirements for elementary school students' mastery of ancient poetry.Students should not only be able to understand the meaning of the verses through recitation,but also appreciate the poet's emotions,and there are also high requirements for the number of poems elementary school students can master,so new blood needs to be injected into elementary school ancient poetry teaching.The reading method of group reading can meet the current needs of elementary school ancient poetry teaching to a certain extent,not only can help students understand ancient poems more deeply,but also can expand their ancient poetry reading volume and learn the methods of ancient poetry reading.In this study,students and teachers in the middle grades of elementary school H in Yangzhou City were used as the subjects of the study.Using the action research paradigm,participant observation method and semi-structured interviews,the study focused on how to better apply group reading to the teaching of ancient poems in elementary schools.Thefollowing research was conducted:firstly,on the basis of the background and significance of the selected topic,a literature review of the existing relevant research results was conducted,and then the research plan and research methods were clarified,and the innovations of this study were highlighted to provide preliminary guidance and research directions for the further development of the study.Secondly,a rational analysis is conducted,and the core concepts and theoretical foundations are theoretically explained to provide theoretical support for the development of the study.Finally,the course of action research on the teaching of group reading in elementary school is divided into three stages:the first stage of action is to investigate the current situation of teaching elementary school ancient poems through interviews and classroom observations of students and teachers,so as to analyze the feasibility of using group reading in elementary school ancient poems;the middle stage of action is to carry out three rounds of teaching practice through "formulation-implementation-reflectionimprovementation-implementation-reflection-improvement-implementation-reflection" cycle to continuously find problems and solve them,and use classroom observation and interviews to analyze and reflect on them,so as to improve the At the end of the study,the study was integrated with related literature,and the research was reflected on and teaching suggestions were made.This study applied group reading to the teaching of ancient poetry in the middle grades of elementary school,thus stimulating students' interest in reading ancient poetry,strengthening their inquisitive thinking,and expanding their reading of ancient poetry,while proposing specific implementation suggestions for the problems encountered in teaching practice,such as determining the topics based on the central text,using "first organizers" to highlight the characteristics of group reading,skillfully using the preview list to cultivate"knowledgeable readers",using visualization strategies to build the framework of ancient poetry,using plate teaching and simplifying classroom questions,etc.
