At present,teaching reform has gone deep into all aspects of teaching,and cultivating students' comprehensive quality has become a hot issue in today's education.Project teaching method is a new teaching method,which can meet the requirements of education in today's society.Project teaching method originated from European and American countries,which advocates the combination of education and life to cultivate students with all-round development.With the rapid update of information in today's society,people's various ideas are constantly innovating with the update of information.The traditional teaching material content can not meet the students' thirst for external knowledge.Therefore,the project teaching method goes deep into students' life,combines book knowledge with students' life,promotes the life of teaching content,meets students' needs for current education,and promotes students' comprehensive development.This paper mainly studies the theory and practice of project teaching method.Firstly,it expounds the research background,significance,current situation,ideas and methods of project teaching method.Then it interprets the concept of project teaching method,including the concept,constituent elements and process of project teaching method,and systematically discusses the rationality of the application of project teaching method in junior middle school morality and rule of law course.Secondly,it also formulates tables for the implementation process of teaching content to standardize the practical steps.Thirdly,through the form of questionnaire and interview,this paper makes a theoretical analysis and exploratory research on the application of project teaching method,summarizes the research results and research status of project teaching,and finds its positive side.At the same time,in the research,it also found the shortcomings of the application of project teaching method in the course of morality and rule of law in junior middle school,and took effective measures to solve the shortcomings to improve the current situation.
