General Secretary Xi Jinping said,"Efforts to popularize the law should be targeted and effective,especially to strengthen the rule of law education among young people,and constantly raise the awareness and literacy of the rule of law among all citizens." Morality and rule of law,compiled by the state for grade 8,is an important carrier of rule of law education for students.Strengthening the rule of law education for grade 8 students can cultivate their awareness of rule of law,improve their ability to respect law,abide by law and use law,and is also the requirement of The Times to build a harmonious society and a modern rule of law country.Based on the questionnaire survey and classroom practice experience,the present situation of law teaching in grade eight of a middle school is investigated and studied.The investigation shows that the rule of law education in the course of Morality and rule of Law has achieved a lot of results,which is reflected in the eighth grade students' interest in the content of rule of law education and the variety of classroom introduction methods,which can effectively mobilize students' learning enthusiasm and the variety of teaching methods,which are popular and recognized by students.There is no best teaching,only better teaching,there are still some aspects of classroom teaching need to be further improved: first,there is room for improvement in the use of teaching methods;Second,the relationship between the teaching of the rule of law and real life can be closer.Third,the evaluation method is not diversified enough.In order to solve the existing problems,try to put forward specific measures.First,improve the teaching method of rule of law,start with real legal cases,and select legal cases around students with great social impact to analyze and explore in the introduction of new lessons.New lessons should be taught in diversified ways,such as role playing and independent exploration teaching methods.Reinforce the summary in different ways,such as stretching,beginning to end,etc.Even with innovative ideas to assign homework,the implementation of the "double reduction" policy.Second,broaden the teaching scope of the rule of law and pay attention to the practice.Pay attention to the integration of the rule of law knowledge in the class,expand the relevant political materials of the rule of law,combine with the actual life to enrich the teaching content,and appropriately extend the eighth grade "Morality and rule of law" class.Third,enrich teaching evaluation methods,using expressive evaluation and comprehensive evaluation.
