Since Chinese was introduced into Vietnam,a large number of Sino-Vietnamese words have been produced.“Sino-Vietnamese words” are an important part of the Vietnamese language,accounting for more than 60% of the Vietnamese vocabulary.In addition to borrowing a large number of inherent Chinese words,the Vietnamese also created new words by using Chinese source morphemes according to the needs of language expression,the so-called “newly invented Sino-Vietnamese words” continued to emerge.The research on “newly invented Sino-Vietnamese words” in Vietnamese network news media is still in its infancy.This paper takes the “newly invented two-syllable Sino-Vietnamese words” in Vietnamese Thanh Nien news as the research object,and combines quantitative and qualitative research methods to analyze 1035 words extracted from the electronic version of Vietnamese Thanh Nien news.This paper investigates a two-syllable Sino-Vietnamese word with more modern sounds,and analyzes the characteristics of Sino-Vietnamese words with more modern sounds and its usage in Vietnamese network news from the perspective of phonetics and semantic word formation.The first chapter expounds the significance of topic selection,research status,research methods and corpus sources.The second chapter chooses the electronic version of Vietnamese Thanh Nien news in Vietnam as the source of corpus,and conducts a detailed investigation of newly invented two-syllable Sino-Vietnamese words in the electronic version of Vietnamese Thanh Nien news.Expound,describe,count and classify newly invented two-syllable Sino-Vietnamese words in the newspaper sample by means of analysis and statistics.Classify and summarize1035 common newly invented two-syllable Sino-Vietnamese words from the four major aspects of politics,economy,diplomacy,and society in the newspaper.At the same time,the number of times each word is used is counted,and the 100 newly invented two-syllable Sino-Vietnamese words with the highest frequency of use are sorted out.The third chapter discusses the characteristics of newly invented two-syllable SinoVietnamese words in the electronic version of Vietnamese Thanh Nien news.Analyze the similarities and differences between newly invented two-syllable Sino-Vietnamese words in Vietnamese and Chinese and Vietnamese words,and fully explain the creativity of the two.This chapter elaborates from the aspects of phonetics,semantics and word formation,and points out the specific performance of newly invented two-syllable Sino-Vietnamese words in Vietnamese Thanh Nien news in terms of phonetics,semantics and word formation(such as the role of phonetic simplification;the mutual influence between sounds;Vietnam’s taboo customs;the influence of dialects;word meaning retention;word meaning expansion;word meaning transfer).The fourth chapter is about the use suggestion of newly invented two-syllable SinoVietnamese words in the electronic version of Vietnamese Thanh Nien news.Elaborate on the classification of improper use of newly invented two-syllable Sino-Vietnamese words in the newspaper,such as: abuse of newly invented two-syllable Sino-Vietnamese words;use of obscure words;improper use of terms;arbitrary abbreviations;should pure Vietnamese be used,etc.Thus proposing the use of newly invented two-syllable SinoVietnamese words suggestion.The fifth chapter summarizes the research work of the full text,summarizes its innovation points,and further work that needs to be carried out.
