| The physical and mental health of female college students in my country is severe,the decline in physical fitness is increasing,and the feeling of psychological gap and inferiority is gradually emerging.Physical exercise can effectively improve the mentality of college students,avoid negative emotions,and alleviate the negative emotions that have occurred,so that the psychological problems of college students can be solved,and then the mental health of college students can be promoted.Yoga,as one of the new physical exercise methods,is a practice that originated in ancient India and integrates body,mind and soul.It can stimulate self-ability and effectively promote the improvement of self-worth.Yoga plays a great role in promoting the individual’s physical and mental health,especially the unique improvement effect on the individual’s mental health.Therefore,this article studies the effects of yoga exercise on female college students’physical self-esteem and self-confidence,analyzes the changes in female college students’ physical self-esteem and self-confidence levels before and after yoga exercise intervention,and examines the effect retention,providing theoretical basis and suggestions for yoga exercise,And ultimately achieve the goal of improving the physical and mental health of female college students.This article takes 90 female college students from Central China Normal University as the experimental subjects,and randomly divides them into a yoga group(n=30)and a blank control group(n=30),and joins badminton,one of the mainstream college sports courses that are also popular among female college students.Group(n=30).Through 16 weeks of experimental intervention,data were collected and analyzed and compared.Research results:(1)There was no significant difference in the level of physical self-esteem and self-confidence in the first three groups of the experiment.Through the 16-week experimental intervention,the yoga group and the badminton group showed significant differences in the level of physical self-esteem and self-confidence compared with the blank control group(P<0.05).(2)Through the 16-week experimental intervention,the yoga group has a significant improvement in all dimensions of physical self-esteem(P<0.05);the badminton group has a significant improvement in physical self-esteem in terms of physical condition,physical attractiveness,physical fitness,and physical self-worth.There was a significant improvement(P<0.05),and there was no significant change in the dimension of motor skills(P>0.05).In terms of self-confidence score,the yoga group was the highest,followed by the badminton group,and the blank control group was the lowest.(3)Two months after the end of the experiment,in the body self-esteem score,the post-test in the yoga group was significantly higher than the previous test,and the delayed test was significantly higher than the previous test(P<0.05),and there was no significant change between the delayed test and the post-test.(P>0.05);The post-test of the badminton group was significantly higher than that of the previous test,the delayed test was significantly higher than the previous test(P<0.05),and the delayed test was significantly lower than the latter test(P<0.05).In terms of self-confidence scores,the post-test in the yoga group was higher than the pre-test,and the delayed test was significantly higher than the pre-test(P<0.05),and there was no significant change in the delayed test compared with the post-test(P>0.05);the post-test in the badminton group Compared with the previous test,the delayed test was significantly higher than the previous test(P<0.05),and the delayed test was significantly lower than the later test(P<0.05).Research conclusions:(1)Participants who exercise have higher levels of physical self-esteem and self-confidence than those who do not.(2)Yoga exercise can better improve the level of physical self-esteem and self-confidence of female college students.(3)Yoga exercise has a good time retention effect in promoting the physical self-esteem and self-confidence level of female college students. |
