As an often-mentioned word in the field of history education in recent years,the core competences of history discipline is the starting point and foothold of history education and teaching.The reason why text auxiliary system of the new textbook Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(Ⅰ)is an important tool to cultivate core competences lies in its stability of how to implement the core competences and it is of great research significance.It can help us further explore the development and utilization of auxiliary system and promote the effective cultivation of core competences.At present,the research on this topic mainly focuses on the comparation of the text auxiliary system columns in different periods and editions,the study of the content of each column itself,or the theoretical study of core competences.In contrast,the discussion on how to use text auxiliary system to cultivate core competences is rarely heard.At the same time,the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(Ⅰ),as a new textbook compiled under the guidance of core competences,still has a large space to explore the implementation of core competences from the new perspective of its text auxiliary system.In terms of its layout,the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(Ⅰ)focuses on the generation of core competences in the auxiliary system.From the function of the auxiliary system,its nine columns can be divided into three categories:pre-class introduction,historical data supplement and question thinking.Each type of column has different characteristics,so the ability goals and requirements are not the same.In order to explore this relationship,Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(Ⅰ)can be taken as the specific analysis object,and then typical cases can be selected to conduct detailed text analysis on the one-to-one correspondence between the three types of columns and the five core competences.At the same time,based on the above theoretical analysis,research further focuses on the practical problems of core competences.Through questionnaires and personal interviews,it can be found that when teachers and students use the text auxiliary system to cultivate core competences,such problems as insufficient understanding,improper methods,competences mismatch will occur.Based on the above-mentioned problems,in order to better cultivate core competences with the help of text auxiliary system,relevant suggestions are put forward mainly from two perspectives:application principles and teaching strategies.Moreover,as different types of columns will have different ability goals,the application principles also varies.Furthermore,it puts forward specific teaching strategies for history teachers,such as combining situational teaching with auxiliary system,integrating columns before class with flexible application in class,respecting students’ dominant status and improving teachers’ professional quality.The principles and strategies are proposed from different dimensions,which combine new education concepts,teaching modes and teaching methods with the application of text auxiliary system.All in all,all those methods are proposed with the aim of providing useful references for the cultivation of core competences.
