| The "Compulsory Education History Curriculum Standards" revised in 2022 proposes that history teaching should be guided by core literacy,based on unit themes,using big concepts to integrate teaching content,and paying attention to the use of local resources and oral history resources related to modern history.Compulsory education history textbooks present the historical development process in chronological order,pay attention to the overall design,and aim to cultivate students’ awareness of general history.Both suggest that history teachers should start from local history resources,rely on new curriculum standards,learning conditions and textbooks,extract teaching topics,integrate teaching contents,carry out theme teaching,and cultivate students’ core literacy when carrying out history teaching.Under the support of constructivism and systems theory,theme teaching presents the characteristics of leading themes,integrating resources,and integrating knowledge.The key to developing theme teaching lies in extracting teaching themes.There are many ways to extract them,such as based on curriculum standards,using unit introduction,Focus on interdisciplinary,combined with the needs of the times,relying on historical resources,etc.Since Lushan County has just been lifted out of poverty,the teaching staff is relatively weak.If history teachers can properly use the local history resources that are readily available to carry out thematic teaching,it will be easier to implement.The purpose of this study is to understand the use of local history resources to carry out thematic teaching in Lushan County Junior High School.The survey results show that it is feasible to use local history resources to carry out theme teaching in county junior high schools.For example,schools attach importance to the construction of historical collective lesson preparation groups;history teachers have the awareness of using local history resources;junior high school students have learning demands in this area.However,there are also some problems,such as less collective teaching and research on the use of local history resources to carry out theme teaching;history teachers do not pay enough attention to the requirements for theme teaching in the new curriculum standard;the breadth and depth of understanding of local history resources in Lushan County is limited,There are difficulties in extracting teaching topics;there are deviations in the historical cognition of some junior high school students.The reasons are that the subject of history is not valued;the high school entrance examination is under great pressure and the result orientation is more prominent;the history teachers in the county middle school have heavy class hours;the awareness of using local history resources to carry out thematic teaching is relatively weak.In order to give full play to the role of theme teaching in junior high school history teaching and to ease the fear of history teachers in carrying out theme teaching,the local history resources that can be seen in daily life are used to extract teaching themes and carry out theme teaching.The specific suggestions are as follows: Schools should formulate scientific Collective teaching and research,carry out subject teaching and research;history teachers should strengthen the study of new curriculum standards,deeply understand the subject teaching concept,establish a personal local history resource base,expand knowledge reserves,learn theories related to subject teaching,and broaden understanding channels;establish innovative awareness and promote themes teaching.The application research of local history resources in junior high school history theme teaching aims to change students’ learning methods from reality,cultivate students’ core literacy,improve the professional quality of history teachers,and achieve the educational goal of morality and education. |
