Left-behind children in rural areas are a special group in the period of social transformation in China.Through the investigation of G town,it is found that the vast majority of local young people choose to go out to work,resulting in a serious problem of left-behind children.They can’t get the attention and care from their parents for a long time,and temporary guardians can’t meet the emotional needs of children.Schools and local government departments don’t pay enough attention to the problem of left-behind children,which leads to the widespread emotional indifference,emotional depression,emotional depression,emotional loneliness and other manifestations of left-behind children in rural areas.Emotional deficiency will cause school weariness,abnormal psychological development,cognitive and behavioral deviation and other adverse effects on left-behind children.Through group activities,this paper provides the required emotional communication skills and emotional support for rural left-behind children,and through summary and reflection,analyzes the shortcomings of the group in providing emotional support,and puts forward some suggestions aiming at the shortcomings,so as to provide emotional support from various aspects for rural left-behind children and build an emotional support system.
