Based on the core literacy of geography,local geography teaching resources have a very important role in geography teaching,and its development and application is one of the current hot spots in geography teaching research.By using local geography teaching resources in teaching,on the one hand,it can effectively help students learn basic geography knowledge from life,and on the other hand,it is important for training students to build up regional cognition,human-land coordination concept and other core of geography subjects from knowing their hometown.This paper is based on a questionnaire survey to analyze the current situation and the main problems in teaching application of local geography resources in Zunyi,and based on this,with reference to relevant literature,discuss the problems associated with the development of local geography teaching resources in Zunyi based on geography core literacy,meanwhile,a specific case is studied and compiled.The study results show that the main problems in the development and application of local geographic resources in Zunyi currently are limited time and the ability of teachers to develop local geographic resources,poor understanding and collection of local geographic resources,lack the reference mechanism and theoretical basis for the development and application of local geographic resources.In Zunyi at present,most middle school teachers have a high recognition for the role of local geography in teaching,but there is still a deficiency in the ability to develop local geography teaching resources,and the frequency of using local geography materials in teaching is low in general.By researching and practicing development studies,it is found that Zunyi has a large number of developable local geographic resources with high development potential and high feasibility.To solve the problems that exist in the development and use of local geography teaching resources in high school geography teaching in Zunyi,this paper is based on the concept of infiltration and cultivation of students’ core literacy in geography,proposes that the development of local geography resources should have the principles of scientificity,achievement of curriculum standard and typicality,etc.The development of local geography resources should follow the ideas of "taking the standards and textbooks as the reference basis","relating to life and keeping up with the times","using textbook resources mainly and local resources as a supplement" and "linking theory with practice to cultivate students’ geography practice".And combined with geographic information technology,proposed the basic development process of developing physical geography resources and human geography resources in Zunyi from the aspects of resource acquisition,processing and integration.And combined with geographic information technology to develop Zunyi local geography teaching resources,mainly including drawing topographic map of Zunyi,three-dimensional topographic schematic map,topography of Honghuagang district and Bozhou,finishing the basic overview of human geography in Zunyi.According to the General High School Geography Curriculum Standards,it summarized the relationship between Zunyi’s local geography teaching resources and the content of the People’s Education Press version of the textbook,and proposed countermeasures for developing Zunyi’s local geography resources to assist high school geography teaching,and put forward strategies for developing and designing local geography teaching resources.Finally,taking "the development of geography teaching resources in Zunyi" as an example,we prepared a teaching case of "the influence of mountains on transportation" with the help of Zunyi city’s local geography resources.Through the implementation of the teaching case of "the influence of mountains on transportation",concluded that by using local geography cases in teaching,especially using cases that students are relatively familiar with,students’ interest in learning geography can be improved more obviously,strengthen students’ understanding and loving their hometown,which has a certain effect on cultivating students’ core literacy of regional cognition and geographic practical power.Local geography curriculum and teaching aids at the high school stage are the theme of research in the new curriculum reform,and the use of local resources requires attention to diversification and innovation of teaching methods proposed in the curriculum standards.
