| Ancient prose,a literary genre with Chinese characteristics,is also a documentary vehicle containing the most orthodox and rich ideological and cultural heritage.High school is a crucial period for students’ growth,and the study of ancient prose in high school is important for improving students’ language and literary literacy.This thesis takes ancient prose in compulsory high school language textbooks as the object of study,and analyses the selection of ancient prose in textbooks from a bibliographical perspective(including edition,cataloguing and proofreading)using methods such as documentary research,and summarises the characteristics and problems of the selection,and then offers suggestions and reflections.The thesis is divided into three main parts: the introduction,the main body and the conclusion.The introduction is divided into five parts.Firstly,it defines the concepts of "part of the text" and "ancient prose",clarifies the meaning of "bibliographic vision",and identifies the object of the study.Secondly,through an analysis of the purpose and significance of the topic,the reader is made aware of the reason for the selection and the importance of the study.Thirdly,through an introduction to the current state of research,the starting point and future direction of the study are clarified.Fourthly,by presenting the research ideas and methods,the idea of writing the thesis is clarified.Fifthly,through the teaching requirements of the Curriculum Standards for ancient prose,we recognise the place of ancient prose in teaching materials.The main part of the thesis is divided into three chapters.In the first chapter,a general analysis of the actual situation of ancient prose texts and commentaries in the textbook.The statistical analysis of ancient prose texts in the textbook focuses on the number of ancient prose selections in the textbook,the type of class(self-reading and taught reading),the genre,the subject matter,and the period.The analysis of the ancient prose annotations focuses on the statistics of the number of textbook annotations,the way the textbook and original annotations are organised,and the classification of the content.In the second chapter,ancient prose in textbooks is analysed from a bibliographical perspective,examining the edition sources,the bibliographical classification,and the textual and annotated proofreading of textbooks and source texts.The process of classicisation of the selections is explored,and the characteristics of the textbook’s ancient prose selections are summarised.Chapter 3,analyses and summarises the shortcomings of the annotation and textual interpretation of ancient prose in textbooks and makes recommendations.Based on the research,it considers the trends of ancient prose in high school language textbooks,attitudes towards ancient prose,and clarifies perspectives.The third part is the conclusion,which summarises the findings of the thesis,indicates the innovative points and problems of the thesis,and suggests future directions for the research.The author hopes to be able to objectively analyse the selection of ancient prose in the ministry’s high school language textbooks under the perspective of bibliography,with a view to providing assistance to front-line teachers in their teaching of ancient prose. |
