At present,with the rapid development of our society,the demand for social services is diversified,the field of social work services continues to expand,and the service requirements continue to increase.The construction of a high-quality social work talent team has become an important task that cannot be ignored in the development of social work.In this context,continuing education in social work has undertaken an important mission to facilitate the professional development of local social work practices.As the birthplace of social work continuing education in the mainland of China,Shanghai has actively explored,promoted and developed professional social work continuing education practices,and explored a suitable and localized "Shanghai Model".At present,there is not much discussion about social work continuing education in the academic circle,and it is concentrated around 2010.So what is the current situation of social work continuing education in Shanghai?What problems exist? What are the reasons for these problems? Is there a way to solve it? Therefore,this study attempts to explore the current situation of local practice of continuing education in social work in Shanghai under the guidance of system theory.This paper analyzes the development process and implementation status of social work continuing education in Shanghai,summarizes the past development experience and the current characteristics of social work continuing education,and finds that environmental driving,organizational attention,and student initiative are the main factors affecting the continuing education of social work in Shanghai.an important factor in the development of This research uses a combination of questionnaires and unstructured interviews to investigate the current problems and possible causes of social work continuing education in Shanghai.In the process of practice,we are also faced with many problems,such as problems in continuing education policies and management systems at the macro level,the lack of professional talents and professional venues for continuing education at the meso level,and the willingness to learn and professional awareness of continuing education students at the micro level.lower etc.The main reasons include insufficient empowerment at the macro level,low professional social awareness,etc.,the lack of embeddedness and self-discipline of social work organizations at the meso level,and the tension between "officiality" and "autonomy".Insufficient professional knowledge and professional confidence of staff.Based on the above research and analysis,the author proposes that the continuing education of social work in Shanghai should improve and promote the professional development of continuing education of social work in Shanghai through the optimization of environmental policies by the government,the active participation of social work organizations and the exertion of subjective initiative by social workers.According to the above investigation and research,the author believes that the continuing education of social work in Shanghai should be "people-oriented,combining work and learning,and integrating research and teaching" as the goal,and through government leadership,industry leadership,and integration of institutions,a cross-domain linkage mechanism for social work should be established.Integrate resources from all parties to promote the "parallel" development of continuing education in social work.
