With population growth and social progress,the demands of Chinese women for a better life have become increasingly extensive,especially in this new era,but female development remains unbalanced and insufficient in China.Therefore,school education is of great significance to overall social development due to its role in helping adolescents obtain a correct understanding of women and develop positive women concepts in line with social development.Exploring the specific and humanisitic concepts by the colorful and various images of Chinese women of the state-compiled Chinese textbook which put into use nationwide 2017,will undoubtedly have a tremendous effect on the spiritual development of junior high school students.The thesis is divided into four chapters as follows:In the first chapter,Chinese female images involved in the state-compiled Chinese textbook for junior high schools were summarized and analyzed from three dimensions.In terms of quantity,61 China female characters and 11 Chinese female authors are selected and compiled in the textbook.In terms of roles,the image of Chinese women can be divided into family roles(girls,wife,mother and grandparents)and social roles(professional women and non-professional women),interpreting their roles in different life stages and different areas.As for qualities,the majority of the Chinese female images are portrayed as "kind-hearted","tough","diligent" and "brave" women.Those qualities are depicted to highlight "positive energy" regardless of gender.Based on the above statistics and analysis of Chinese female images,it is concluded in the second chapter that the compilation of the state-compiled Chinese textbook for junior high schools are featured with emphasizing female roles and duties,advocating their internal and external beauty as well as weakening the biological sex characteristics from the perspective of virtue,aesthetics and gender conception respectively.This is of great educational significance in fostering virtue,recognizing the beauty of Chinese women,and demonstrating gender equality,thus laying a theoretical foundation for the follow-up teaching.In the third chapter,an investigation and analysis was conducted on the current teaching situation of Chinese female images in the state-complied Chinese textbook for junior high schools.First of all,through a questionnaire survey of 260 randomly selected students who were in Shijiazhuang City,it was found that seventh graders are more aware of the qualities of modern women in terms of virtue,and more appreciative of the role of mother in terms of the aesthetic object,while male students are more traditional in gender concepts.Secondly,the analyses of 18 cases indicated that front-line Chinese teachers usually pay attention to using various teaching methods to interpret the quality of the character,taste the aesthetic connotation of the character through plots,and conduct in-depth research on the theme of the text from the same perspective.However,they also have certain negligence in various themes such as the practical value of moral education activities,the aesthetic education meaning of language and words,and gender equality.These conclusions are able to provide a realistic basis for subsequent suggestions for teaching.On the basis of the abovementioned compilation characteristics,educational significance and teaching situation,suggestions were proposed in the fourth chapter on the teachers,teaching methods and teaching contents for the teaching of Chinese female images involved in the state-complied Chinese textbook for junior high schools from perspectives of moral education,aesthetic education and gender education.Compared with the existing research results,this study places more emphasis on the integrity and systematicness of research ideas,as well as the scientificity,pertinence and operability of research conclusions.With the Chinese female images involved in the state-complied Chinese textbook for junior high schools as the research object,content analysis and literature research were conducted on the compilation characters and educational significance of the textbook in terms of moral education,aesthetic education and gender education,and teaching problems were identified through the questionnaire survey and case analysis.Then,under the guidance of relevant theories such as feminism,corresponding teaching suggestions were proposed from perspectives of moral education,aesthetic education and gender education,in hope of helping front-line Chinese teachers better interpret the Chinese female images depicted in the state-compiled Chinese textbook for junior high schools so as to cultivate the moral quality of junior high school students,improve their aesthetic creativity,help them develop a science-based gender concept,and give full play to the educational significance of the textbook.
