High school ideological and political courses shoulder the important task of Marxism common sense education for young students.At the same time,it is also necessary to cultivate contemporary high school students to establish a good ideological and moral consciousness,and identify with the leadership of the Communist Party of China and support the socialist system with Chinese characteristics.In the new curriculum standards of high school ideology and politics proposed by the Ministry of Education in 2017,it was clearly stated that: "Senior high school ideological and political course is a comprehensive and active course that takes moral cultivation as its fundamental task and socialist core values as its fundamental purpose to help students establish the correct political direction,improve the core quality of ideological and political subjects,and enhance the ability of social understanding and participation."Case teaching method is a teaching method in which teachers,under the guidance of established teaching objectives,combine with relevant teaching contents,adopt diversified means and corresponding teaching measures,and select situational cases that fit with classroom contents for teaching.By providing relevant cases,case teaching method enables students to think and combine with group cooperation and discussion,it can greatly improve students’ participation in class,and further improve students’ ability to analyze,solve problems and construct knowledge.Finally,it achieves the educational purpose of improving students’ comprehensive quality and ability.Case teaching method plays an important role in students’ systematic mastery of subject knowledge,improving comprehensive quality and improving teacher education and teaching level.This paper is mainly carried out from the following five aspects and related discussion:The first part is introduction.In this chapter,the background of the topic selection,research methods,research ideas and so on are expounded.In addition,the current research status of case teaching method at home and abroad is sorted out.The emphases and difficulties of this paper are further revealed.The second part is an overview of the case teaching method.The case teaching method,case teaching method and high school ideological and political case teaching method are clearly defined.The characteristics of case teaching method are summarized and analyzed deeply.This paper expounds the main theoretical basis of case teaching method: learning transfer theory,constructivism theory,Marxist epistemology and case teaching theory.The third part analyzes the main problems and causes of the case teaching method used in high school ideological and political courses at present.Through relevant investigation,the author finds that there are three main problems: case selection is not typical;Case implementation is difficult to improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching;Case evaluation is not comprehensive.The reasons for these problems are analyzed as follows: teachers’ weak consciousness of selecting high-quality teaching cases,teachers’ lack of teaching ability based on case analysis,and poor implementation of the concept of student-oriented teaching evaluation.The fourth part is the countermeasures analysis of the problems existing in the application of case teaching method in high school ideological and political lessons.To strengthen the consciousness,grasp the starting point of teaching case development;To improve the ability,optimize the practical classroom application of case teaching method;It is necessary to evaluate scientifically and improve the expected effect of case teaching method.The fifth part is the teaching practice of integrating the case teaching method into the high school ideological and political course.It selects the first box of the eighth lesson,the Nationality and Diversity of Culture,which is the compulsory fourth high school political textbook,Philosophy and Culture,as an example to carry out the basic analysis of teaching design,the record of teaching process and the summary and feedback of teaching.
