| The teacher honor system is an institutional arrangement for the state or the education department to affirm and honor teachers with good conduct and performance and outstanding contributions according to certain standards and procedures.It is an important guarantee for the construction of teachers.The teacher ’s honor system has the functions of value guidance,strengthening drive and incentive,and has a positive effect on boosting the professional attraction of teachers,improving teachers ’ social status and professional identity.This study uses interview method and text analysis method to select 9 research teachers from rural schools in Y city and surrounding counties as the research objects.With the help of Nvivo-12 qualitative analysis software,word frequency statistics and collation coding are carried out to understand the representative concepts of rural teachers on the implementation of teacher honor system,and objectively reflect the current implementation of teacher honor system in China from the perspective of teachers.The survey shows that in the process of implementing the honor system of rural teachers in China,from the perspective of the level of honor projects,the higher the honor projects,the smaller the probability of rural teachers winning awards;from the perspective of school type,central schools are more standardized than village-level schools.From the perspective of teacher category,urban teachers are more competitive than rural teachers.The current problems in the implementation of the honor system for rural teachers in China are mainly manifested in the lack of hierarchy in the setting of honorary titles,the ambiguity of evaluation criteria,the lack of democracy in the evaluation process,the lack of publicity and recognition,and the absence of post-honor management.Fundamentally speaking,the reason is the lack of a deep understanding of the purpose and importance of the teacher honor system in the concept,the lack of a complete and standardized system arrangement in the system,and the lack of strong execution in the operation mechanism.In this regard,based on the whole process management theory,this study puts forward the design and suggestions for optimizing the honor system of rural teachers in China from the three links of ’ pre-honor ’,’ honor ’ and ’ post-honor ’,that is,guiding rural teachers to correctly understand the honor system of rural teachers,constructing a systematic and hierarchical honor system,and establishing a post-elimination dynamic management mechanism.From declaration to review,through effective ’ project-based ’management.Ensure the standardized implementation of the teacher honor system,fully play its leading and incentive role,and provide strong support for teachers ’professional development. |
