In order to further implement the digital China development strategy proposed at the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and achieve the development goal of "promoting digital education and building a learning society and a learning country for lifelong learning for all",it is necessary to conduct in-depth research on the basis of the digital China development strategy-the improvement of information literacy for all.As an important group receiving information literacy education,junior high school students are in a critical period of the formation of personal information literacy,such as information knowledge,information ability,information awareness and information ethics.During this period,junior high school students have access to massive information,and are also in a critical period of the formation of world views and values.If they do not receive appropriate information literacy education and guidance,They are likely to be misled by incorrect information awareness and beliefs and go astray.The state and society have the responsibility to carry out more effective information literacy education for junior high school students and guide them to become informed and responsible citizens.Therefore,it is particularly necessary to study the current situation of information literacy education of junior high school students,find out the existing problems and give corresponding countermeasures.This thesis uses literature research,field investigation,and questionnaire survey methods to investigate 862 students from three grades in 8 rural junior high schools in Yuncheng County,southwestern Shandong Province.The survey found that the information literacy ability of rural junior high school students in Yuncheng County,southwest Shandong Province is generally insufficient.The reason analysis found that in rural junior middle schools,there are generally problems such as the weak foundation of information literacy education and the lagging content of teachers’ information literacy education.On the basis of in-depth analysis and research on the above issues,this paper proposes measures to improve the management and construction of information literacy education in rural middle schools,strengthen the information literacy teacher team,and deepen students’ awareness of information literacy independent learning,to improve the status of information literacy education in rural middle schools,improve the quality and efficiency of information literacy education for rural junior middle school students,and give advice for effectively improving information literacy of rural primary middle school students.
