| Nowadays,the vigorous development of information technology has become an irresistible trend and has an increasingly significant impact on the education sector.In the ever-changing society in the future,the focus of education researchers and educators is to cultivate talents with practical,innovative and knowledge-based comprehensive ability to adapt to the information age.With the successive promulgation of policy documents,maker education has gradually been valued by educators.Its main purpose is to train and cultivate students ’ practical ability and innovative spirit.However,in the actual classroom teaching,there are still many problems to be solved,especially the lack of appropriate teaching mode as the guidance of teaching design,which leads to the poor effect of students ’ innovative ability training.As a new teaching mode abroad,design-based learning has shown its unique advantages in cultivating students ’ innovative ability in many studies.Therefore,this study combines the problems existing in the current primary school maker teaching,based on design-based learning,and puts forward the research question of ’ how to design and implement primary school maker teaching activities based on design-based learning ’.The main research content of this study focuses on the design and practice of maker teaching activities based on design-based learning.Specifically,the study is divided into four stages : The first stage is literature review.Through the review and analysis of relevant literature,this study explores the theoretical basis of design-based learning and maker education and its application in teaching practice.The second stage is the framework construction.Based on the results of literature review and the needs of maker teaching activities,this study proposes corresponding teaching activity design principles,and constructs a framework of maker teaching activities based on design-based learning to better guide the design and implementation of maker teaching activities.The third stage is the framework application.This study applies the constructed teaching activity framework to the first-line primary school maker classroom,carries out three rounds of teaching practice,and through summary and reflection,discusses the application effect of the framework in practical teaching,and how to further improve the framework.The fourth stage is the effect verification.This study uses questionnaires,observation records and results display to verify the effect of maker teaching activities.It mainly evaluates students’ innovation ability to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the framework,and proposes corresponding improvement strategies to solve the problems and deficiencies in teaching practice.Through the comprehensive analysis of the scores of students ’ works,the changes of innovation ability measurement scale data,classroom observation and teacher interview data,this study draws the following conclusions : The maker teaching activity framework based on design-based learning has a good teaching effect in primary school 3D printing teaching.The level of students ’ work production and innovation ability has been significantly improved,and the problems existing in primary school 3D printing teaching under the traditional teaching mode have also been improved.Therefore,it verifies the effectiveness of the design scheme and framework of primary school maker teaching activities based on design-based learning,and provides new ideas for front-line teachers. |
