In the context of continuous promotion of curriculum reform and increasing requirements for talent training,the Ministry of Education officially promulgated the General High School History Curriculum Standards in 2018,which put forward the concept of "core literacy in history" for the first time and clearly pointed out that the history curriculum should take the cultivation and improvement of students’ core literacy in history as its goal,and the structure of the curriculum,the selection of curriculum contents,and the implementation of the curriculum should always carry out the task of developing students’ core literacy in history.The design of the curriculum structure,the selection of the curriculum content,and the implementation of the curriculum should always carry out the task of developing students’ core literacy in history.How to implement the core literacy has become the top priority of the new curriculum reform.Traditional classroom teaching is not conducive to students’ overall mastery of knowledge and construction of knowledge system.Based on the core literacy objectives of history,the development of unit theme teaching in high school history teaching is conducive to strengthening the connection between knowledge,promoting the transformation of knowledge into ability,improving logical thinking in history,and implementing core literacy.Therefore,this paper is devoted to the study of "core literacy-based high school history unit theme teaching",and discusses the strategies of high school history unit theme teaching from the middle school history classroom.This paper uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method and case study method for research.Through the collation and induction of relevant literature,the conceptual definition of important terms,and the relevant theoretical basis from multiple perspectives are put forward,and the characteristics and significance of the teaching method of unit theme are analyzed.Then,the questionnaire survey method was used to investigate the current situation of high school history unit theme teaching based on core literacy for high school history teachers from the two levels of understanding and practice,and the main problems and reasons were found by analyzing the survey results.Through the literature research results and teaching case analysis,the strategy of carrying out unit theme teaching is formulated,and finally according to the formulated teaching strategy,the teaching cases are comprehensively analyzed and designed based on the fourth unit of "Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(Part II)" "The Establishment of Capitalist System",and the teaching activity design is reflected and summarized,in order to provide reference and reference for front-line middle school history teachers to carry out unit theme teaching.
