Employment is the source of wealth,the cornerstone of social stability,and the foundation of people’s livelihood.The economic downturn caused by the pandemic and the continued rise in the number of university graduates have added more pressure to employment.The report of the 20 th National Congress emphasizes "employment first",and the "14th Five-Year Plan" clearly states that fuller and higher-quality employment is the main goal we pursue at this stage.The enthusiasm for college graduates has brought opportunities and challenges to the education and training of talents in colleges and universities,and also indirectly led to the spread of "slow employment" and the backlog of new employment waves.In this context,as a key employment group in the future,how to promote their high-quality employment is a key content that both the government and universities urgently need to think about and study.This paper takes the research on the employment quality of college graduates in Jilin Province as the core of research,establishes the research objectives and research methods on the basis of literature review and accumulation,and evaluates and analyzes the employment quality of college graduates in Jilin Province by establishing an evaluation index system for the employment quality of college graduates.This paper mainly uses Delphi method and analytic hierarchy method to establish employment quality evaluation indicators and assign weight to the indicators,and uses the relevant data of employment quality reports released by universities to empirically analyze the employment quality of college graduates in Jilin Province after the construction of the evaluation system,and finally finds that the main problems in employment quality in Jilin Province include the "quality" and "quantity" of graduates’ employment decreased by the environmental impact.Structural mismatch of graduates’ own employment expectations affecting graduates’ employment;The comprehensive employability and job matching degree of graduates need to be improved;The quality of talent training and employment work in colleges and universities urgently need to be innovated and improved,and corresponding countermeasures are proposed,including the government should build a high-quality platform for school-enterprise collaboration and provide diversified employment information channels;Colleges and universities should improve the employment-oriented training curriculum and do practical and detailed employment work;Graduates should clarify their own ability positioning and establish a reasonable and correct view of career choice;Employers should actively provide a platform for graduates to practice employment and promote the transition between academic and vocational positions.
