| In recent years,China attaches great importance to the training of high-level professionals in social work,The National Program for medium and long-term talent development in 2010-2020 lists social work talents as professional talents in the key fields of social development,but a large number of social work masters graduate every year,facing the employment problem,The employment social policy issued by the government has indeed alleviated this problem,but it still needs to be improved and improved.Taking two colleges and universities in Shanxi with master’s degree graduates in social work as the field survey points,this paper uses the methods of questionnaire and interview to understand the employment situation of master’s degree in social work.The survey results show that the overall employment rate of master’s degree in social work is high,the trend of community employment is obvious,and the phenomenon of "slow employment" is obvious.At the same time,there are also poor first-time employment,unstable employment Low quality of employment.After investigating the relevant social policies affecting the employment of master of social work,it is found that the employment social policy has played a positive role in the following aspects: broadening the employment channels of social workers,driving the market to absorb social workers,and promoting the reform of social work education;Its shortcomings lie in the lack of policies to encourage the employment of social work graduates,unclear employment policies and imperfect supporting policies.Finally,from the perspective of developmental social policy,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the employment of masters majoring in social work,including: Improve the employment policy and build a multi-level social work employment system;Improve the university education system and implementing the social investment strategy;Carry out personal capacity-building and pay attention to investment in human capital. |
