| As one of the core indicators of the quality of regional economic growth, the efficiency of economic growth not only determines the quality of economic growth, the direction of technological progress and the level of management efficiency, but also directly affects the differences in regional economic development. However,my country has long relied on a capital-driven extensive economic growth model. While achieving rapid economic growth, problems such as industrial structural imbalance, excess production capacity and reduced social equity have also arisen.Under the background of the new normal of the economy, strengthening the drive of innovation, realizing economic transformation, and promoting the improvement of economic growth efficiency are important goals of my country’s economic development. At the same time, the transformation of economic growth mode also makes human capital more and more important as the carrier of knowledge and technology. Many scholars at home and abroad have verified the correlation between human capital and economic growth, but many studies have ignored the heterogeneity of human capital, and there are few studies on the relationship between human capital and economic growth efficiency. Therefore, this paper takes heterogeneous human capital and economic growth efficiency as the research object, through theoretical and empirical analysis,to deeply study the impact of heterogeneous human capital on regional economic growth efficiency.Firstly,on the basis of reviewing relevant literatures at home and abroad, this paper defines the related concepts of heterogeneous human capital and economic growth efficiency, introduces the theoretical basis of heterogeneous human capital and economic growth efficiency, and focuses on the analysis of heterogeneous human capital. The mechanism of action of capital on the efficiency of economic growth is divided into internal action mechanism and spatial spillover mechanism.Secondly, based on the panel data of 30 provincial-level administrative regions in my country from 2005 to 2019,this paper conducts a scientific measurement of heterogeneous human capital and economic growth efficiency, and compares the heterogeneous human resources in the three regions of my country’s eastern, central and western regions.Differences in the status quo of capital and economic growth efficiency.Thirdly, using the inter-provincial panel data in my country,a general panel regression model is constructed to examine the influence of the heterogeneous level of human capital and the stock level of human capital on the regional economic growth efficiency, and a spatial Durbin model is constructed to further analyze the relationship between primary human capital, intermediate human capital, and human capital. The impact of advanced human capital on the efficiency of economic growth. The research results show that:(1)The level of human capital stock has a positive promoting effect on economic growth efficiency;the heterogeneity level of human capital has a negative inhibitory effect on economic growth efficiency, that is,economic growth efficiency increases with the degree of human capital heterogeneity.(2)From a national perspective,my country’s economic growth efficiency has a spatial spillover effect, that is,the economic growth efficiency of this region can promote the growth of the economic growth efficiency of neighboring regions;from the decomposition of the spatial spillover effect of heterogeneous human capital It can be seen that the spatial spillover effect of primary human capital is not significant, the intermediate human capital has a negative spatial spillover effect, and the senior human capital has a positive spatial spillover effect.(3)From the perspective of regional heterogeneity, the impact of primary, intermediate and advanced human capital on the economic growth efficiency of the East,Central and West regions shows obvious regional differences. Finally,on the basis of summarizing the above theoretical analysis and empirical test results, this paper puts forward corresponding policy suggestions for the current situation of my country’s heterogeneous human capital and economic growth efficiency. |
