Research On The Influence Of Extensive Entertainment On College Students’ Values And Countermeasures

College students are regarded as the builders and inheritors of the socialist cause,an important force in promoting the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and undertaking the major task of realizing the great rejuvenation of democracy.They are also important targets for mainstream ideology to compete for.Due to the highly-developed information technology and the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,the trend of pan-entertainment has had an impact on contemporary youth groups in various ways,manifested in the continuous penetration of youth groups’ professional,life,historical,and political views,which has hindered the promotion and education of mainstream core values,and weakened the guiding role of Marxism in the ideological field.Through empirical research,the author systematically studies the harm caused by pan entertainment to college students’ values from six perspectives: consumption,aesthetics,history,and politics and so on.It not only puts the development of mainstream values and culture in a dilemma,but also promotes college students’ values to be wrongly guided and distorted.The root cause of the existence of pan-entertainment is that capitalists engaged in the production of cultural products forcibly integrate real life into entertainment elements,thereby achieving the growth of their profits.In this context,the trend of pan-entertainment not only exists in the entertainment industry,but also gradually extends to the political,economic,educational,and real life levels of our country.Therefore,in order to effectively solve this dilemma,it is necessary to coordinate the efforts of the government,all sectors of society,universities,and college student groups,that is,to improve the level of value management,accelerate the process of socialist cultural construction,improve the Internet management mechanism,and attach importance to value education for college student groups.Scientifically addressing the damage caused by pan-entertainment to the value cultivation of college students can help college students correctly recognize pan-entertainment,form positive values,promote the dissemination of the mainstream ideology of core values,strengthen the position of Marxist guiding ideology,and effectively play the role of value cohesion.
