At the national conference on ideological and political affairs in colleges and universities,General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that colleges and universities should consider moral cultivation as the central link and carry out ideological and political work throughout the whole process of education and teaching.The construction of ideological and political education in curriculum is a key link and strategic move of implementing the basic task of moral cultivation.College teachers are the key subjects to practice ideological and political education in curriculum.In the "Jointing and Booting Stage" of college students,college teachers play a vital role.Their quality of ideological and political education in curriculum greatly affects the effect of moral cultivation.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the quality of college teachers under the background of ideological and political education in curriculum.This paper focuses on the subject of college teachers’ quality from the perspective of ideological and political education in curriculum,uses literature research method and case analysis method,then explores the realization path of improving the quality of university teachers from the following aspects.Firstly,study the related knowledge of ideological and political education in curriculum by defining its connotation,clarifying its important value and analyzing the relevant theory supporting ideological and political education in curriculum.They lay a theoretical foundation for further studying on the college teachers’ quality of ideological and political education in curriculum.Secondly,under the background of ideological and political education in curriculum,the connotation of teachers’ quality has a deeper meaning,this paper puts forward the new requirements of ideological and political education in curriculum on teachers: set up the consciousness of ideological and political education in curriculum,have the literacy of ideological and political education in curriculum,and master the teaching ability of ideological and political education in curriculum.Thirdly,through case study,this paper analyzes the work of cultivating teachers’ quality of ideological and political education in curriculum in some universities,and study the teachers’ quality of China University of Petroleum in the teaching of ideological and political education in curriculum.And then,sum up the valuable experience which can improve college teachers’ quality.Finally,it is further found that college teachers still have some problems in three ways of consciousness,knowledge and ability.Some college teachers lack education consciousness and theoretical knowledge of ideological and political education in curriculum,and need to further improve their teaching ability of ideological and political education in curriculum.In view of the above problems,this paper analyzes the reasons behind the problems from the aspects of teachers’ personal driving force,the top-level design of colleges,the teachers’ training of ideological and political education in curriculum,and the incentive mechanism of teachers’ assessment.College teachers are an important force in the ideological and political education team of college students.We must strengthen teachers’ educational consciousness of ideological and political education in curriculum by improving their ideological and political level,strengthening teachers’ moral education and cultivating the idea of collaborative education.By optimizing teaching design of ideological and political education in curriculum and innovating teaching methods of ideological and political education in curriculum,teachers’ teaching ability of ideological and political education in curriculum can be improved.In order to ensure the scientific,standardized and normal development of teachers’ educational work,we should perfect the top-level design of teachers,establish the teachers’ training system of ideological and political education in curriculum,and improve the evaluation and incentive mechanism of teachers.From the levels of consciousness,ability and system,this paper explores the paths of improving college teachers’ quality from the perspective of ideological and political education in curriculum,in order to further improve the college teachers’ quality of ideological and political education in curriculum and effectively enhance the effect of teachers’ education.
