The compulsory education curriculum reform emphasizes that the history curriculum should focus on the core quality of history,and the innovative use of historical materials that meet the students’ cognitive level should be used in history teaching.The History Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education revised by the Ministry of Education in 2022 also emphasizes the importance of the development and utilization of various history curriculum resources,the improvement of history teachers’ professional quality and teaching ability,and the cultivation of students’ core quality ability.In addition,the historical figures and events involved in the history course can not be really felt by students,which brings certain difficulties to history teaching.Infiltrating the family letters resources of the War of Resistance against Japan into the history teaching of middle schools,building a communication channel between history and reality,can deepen students’ empathy experience of history,thus consolidating the knowledge base,improving the literacy ability,and feeling the feelings of home and country.On the basis of previous studies on the history of the Anti Japanese War and the teaching of the history of the Anti Japanese War,combined with the author’s own thinking,this paper discusses the connotation definition,basic characteristics and main functions of the family letters of the Anti Japanese War,as well as the importance and feasibility of their application in the history teaching of middle schools,and from the perspective of the application strategy of the family letters of the Anti Japanese War in the history teaching of middle schools,puts forward the relevant teaching application suggestions of the family letters of the Anti Japanese War in the history teaching of middle schools.With a view to exploring this issue,we can provide new insights and ideas on the application of the family letters of the Anti Japanese War in middle school history teaching.
