With the continuous development of the society,the school moral education is paid more and more attention.At present,the theme class meeting is one of the important ways of school moral education.Practice has proved that the simple indoctrination of moral education knowledge and the disconnection between moral education content and real life are the important reasons for the poor effect of moral education.In recent years,the number of single-parent families,divorced families and left-behind children in Huizhou H primary school has gradually increased,it brings many challenges to moral education.Under this background,in order to improve the efficiency of the teachers’ moral education and enhance the students’ comprehensive quality,In this context,a new theme class meeting--experiential theme class meeting has emerged.Experiential theme class meeting pay attention to create a relaxed meeting atmosphere,emphasize the teachers and students design,students as the main body,group activities,games,let students to summarize and reflect,reflect students ’participation,gain and experience,so as to improve students’ moral standards and independent learning ability.This study was targeted from Grade 4--6 at Huizhou H Primary School,mainly using literature research,case analysis and questionnaire survey.Research with Dewey activity curriculum theory,Lewin group dynamics theory,the theory of the connotation of the experiential theme class meeting,points out the necessity and feasibility of elementary school experiential theme class meeting,from the basic principles,content points,implementation and effect evaluation of the overall design of the experiential theme class meeting,and practical application in Huizhou H primary school,through student satisfaction survey,teachers and students to check the application effect.The study believes that the positive effect of experiential theme class meeting is obvious,which is conducive to cultivating the sense of class identity,creating a harmonious and upward class atmosphere,improving the moral education level;to cultivate students’ correct values,improve students’ self-reflection ability;and to teach schools according to their age,and to cultivate teachers’ innovation ability.However,elementary school experiential theme class meeting also exist sometimes relatively single,content sometimes from practice,conditions is sometimes difficult to guarantee,sometimes evaluation becomes a mere formality,need to actively rich form of class meeting activities,overall planning class meeting content design,try to provide class meeting conditions,constantly improve the class meeting feedback evaluation,etc.
