With the rapid development of our country’s economy and the constant adjustment of economic structure,the educational methods are also changing.Modern basic education advocate liberal education,and an important link of liberal education is mental health education.But nowadays,we often see the reports about the extreme behaviors of junior high school students,such as suicide or hurting others,which are often the“Projection” of junior high school students’ mental health problems The statistics of China Youth Crime Research Association show that the rate of juvenile delinquency is increasing,which makes the society pay more attention to the mental health of junior high school students.In semi-boarding schools,there are both boarding students and day students,and there are two groups of students,so we should pay more attention to their mental health.The study was conducted among 837 students in a junior high school in s city by means of symptom checklist 90(Scl-90),general well-being scale,peer support scale,family resilience scale and teacher-student relationship scale,s PSS software is used to analyze and process the collected data.The results show that: 1.Compared with the norm of middle school students,the mental health of semi-boarding junior high school students is better and lighter.(2)the mental health status of the boarders was worse than that of the day-school students.(3)the peer support,family resilience and teacher-student relationship were significantly correlated with the mental health status and general well-being of the boarders and day-school students 4.Peer support,family resilience and teacher-student relationship can predict the mental health and general well-being of the students.Based on the investigation and analysis of the current situation and problems of mental health education,this study puts forward suggestions from three aspects,namely,parent level,teacher level and school level for the educational management of semi-boarding schools.
