Foreign works are the general term for works of all nations and regions except those of China.There are not only pure literary works such as poetry,prose,fiction and drama,but also discourse and practical texts,so they are collectively referred to as foreign works.With its unique cultural connotation and educational value,foreign works have become an indispensable part of Chinese textbooks,which play an important role in perfecting students’ knowledge structure,improving aesthetic ability,penetrating moral education and expanding cultural vision.However,there have been many problems in the teaching of foreign works for a long time.For example,under the exam-oriented education,both teachers and students do not pay attention to the study of foreign works,teachers’ foreign literature literacy is insufficient,the teaching mode is single,and there are cultural barriers between students and foreign works.The existence of these problems makes teachers and students fail to fully recognize the value of foreign works.Compared with the humanities edition,the selected foreign works in the unified high school Chinese textbooks have great changes,which is worth paying attention to and studying.In the face of new textbooks and selected texts,how to effectively carry out the teaching of foreign works has become a subject placed in front of every teacher.Therefore,based on the analysis of selected foreign works in the unified compilation of high school Chinese textbooks,this paper studies the status quo of teaching in the form of questionnaire,and puts forward corresponding improvement strategies combined with specific selection.This paper includes the following contents:The introduction part elaborates the research origin,research significance and research methods of this paper,and sorts out the previous teaching of foreign works in high schools from the aspects of textbook compilation,teaching content,teaching status and teaching strategies.The first chapter is the general situation of the selected foreign works in the unified high school Chinese textbooks,sorting out the selected foreign works in the unified high school Chinese textbooks and the human Education Edition from the aspects of quantity,genre,spatial and temporal distribution and theme,and analyzing the compilation concept of the selected foreign works in the unified high school Chinese textbooks.The second chapter is the analysis of foreign works selected in the unified compilation of high school Chinese textbooks.It includes the analysis of the value of the selection of foreign works in the unified compilation of high school Chinese textbooks and the new requirements for teachers.The third chapter investigates students’ learning status and teachers’ teaching status in the form of questionnaire survey,analyzes and summarizes the problems presented by foreign works in the specific teaching of the unified compilation of high school Chinese textbooks.The fourth chapter puts forward corresponding improvement strategies in view of the problems existing in the selection of foreign works and teaching in the unified compilation of high school Chinese textbooks,in order to provide reference for the majority of front-line teachers.One is to change the concept,improve the quality of teachers;Second,to understand the text and analyze the deep meaning of foreign works;Third,extracurricular extension,expand the reading horizon of foreign works;Fourth,evaluate reflection,adjust and improve teacher teaching.
