The new curriculum standards are constantly implemented,the new curriculum reform movement is also continuously advocated and implemented,and the College Entrance Examination is also constantly reformed.The traditional "indoctrination" teaching method has been unable to meet the requirements of the College Entrance Examination reform and the requirements of the social development in the new era for cultivating innovative talents.Therefore,in the stage of basic education,to explore more scientific and practical teaching methods has an irreplaceable role in the healthy growth of students."Inquisitive teaching method" is based on "inquisition-inquiry",which is the basic way for human to know things and solve problems,and "independent inquiry and group cooperation" is the main implementation mode,which can cultivate students’ innovative spirit and practical ability.Novel reading is the most important part of students’ learning in middle school,and it also involves students’ aesthetic ability and cultural accumulation.Because of its specific stylistic features,novel reading has strong operability in questioning and probing activities,and can be well combined with the teaching model of questioning and probing.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the origin of the topic selection,the research status and research methods.The second part analyzes the curriculum research and teaching status of high school Chinese novel reading,analyzes the requirements of the college entrance examination syllabus for students’ novel reading ability,and explains the questioning teaching model from the concept,characteristics,specific steps and evaluation system.The third part analyzes the feasibility of applying inquisitive teaching to novel reading teaching,and takes practical teaching as an example to research and analyze the inquisitive teaching method of novel reading,and empirically analyzes the effect of inquisitive teaching of novel reading through the results of questionnaire survey and examination results.The fourth part analyzes the problems existing in the application of inquisition teaching method in the teaching process of novel reading,puts forward relevant suggestions,and summarizes this research.Through the analysis of novel reading inquiry teaching,the purpose is to try and develop a new teaching mode,train students’ thinking ability,improve their learning enthusiasm and aesthetic appreciation ability.
