With the development of the automobile industry in the direction of low-carbon,informatization,and intelligence,automobiles are changing from traditional means of transportation to large-scale mobile intelligent terminals.Intelligence and networking have become the focus of major manufacturers.For example,automatic driving,as the most cutting-edge technology in the current automobile industry,is also one of the main application scenarios of artificial intelligence.The development of automatic driving technology is inseparable from the application of vehicle cameras,and good development prospects have enabled traditional camera manufactures to get involved in the development and manufacturing of vehicle cameras.However,compared with general consumer electronics products,automotive products have higher requirements in terms of safety,practicability and durability.How to develop a product that meets customer requirements with good quality and enough quantity within a limited time is a problem that needs to be solved at present.The Advanced Product Quality Planning(APQP)program is a part of the Automobile Quality Management System IATF16949 and is also one of the five major tools made by AIAG.It has been widely used in the automotive industry as a structured method for the design and development of auto parts.APQP is the embodiment of the concept that quality derives from the design,and it is also the specific application of project management in the automotive field.This dissertation first introduces the theoretical knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning(APQP)and Design of Experiment(DOE)methods,and analyzes the problems and causes in the new product development process of F company.Then T54 project is used as the research object to gradually introduce the APQP method in accordance with the five major phases of APQP,and also use the experimental design analysis method to optimize the process parameters in order to improve the efficiency of design verification and reduce the risk of design quality.Finally,this dissertation analyzes and summarizes the results achieved by F company though applying APQP method.The research in the dissertation helped F company to explore the development process of new vehicle products,which is suitable for the F company based on its actual situation,and also successfully completed the development of new vehicle lens within a certain period of time.The T54 project has improved the product quality,reduced development costs and shortened the product development cycle through the application of the APQP method.At the same time,F company successfully transformed into the development of vehicle products,laying the foundation for the development of other vehicle lenses in the future.The successful application of APQP and DOE methods is the key to the success of the project,providing a certain reference for other companies wishing to transform to the development of vehicle products.
