The functional relationship is centuries-old between technology, curriculum and instruction. The development and reformation of curriculum and instruction is related to some factors such as the technological progress, the educational tradition and the shift of social culture. As technology is the main cause of fission and shift of culture, it has essential influence on the whole field of curriculum and instruction, for example, design, development, execution and assessment, etc. With the view of associating reality condition with historical experience and social culture, the author has discussed the past, the present and the future of the integration of technology into curriculum in the paper.The paper comprises three parts. In part I , the author discriminates the differences in the opinions of the connotation on technology, curriculum, integration curriculum, integration of technology into curriculum, etc. The author analyses the related factors on the integration of technology into curriculum, and describes the framework of the interaction between technology and curriculum.In part II, the author discusses the issues of practice and essensial understading on connecting technology and curriculum currently. According to the author's opinion, it is not only the utilization of integrating technology into curriculum. As viewed from culture, integration of information technology into curriculum is the course that information culture affects curriculum reformation and development, and is the course of reconstruction for new curriculum culture under the social circumstances of information culture.In part III, the author discusses the issue of educationalized technology, and the transformation of curriculum culture. In the author's opinion, multidimensional curriculum is an orientation of the future curriculum; we must endeavour to construct the learning community of connecting actual class with virtual education, which will contribute to the transformation of the curriculum and the curriculum culture in future.
