With the coming of knowledge economy and the integration of culture with economy and politics, Culture is playing an increasingly important role in the competition of overall national strength and mirrors the competitiveness, creativity and cohesion of one nation. Under market economy, with enterprises as the subject of reform and innovation, the modeling and cultivation of excellent corporate culture will promote business management reform and corporate culture is playing an increasingly important and indispensable role. Due to the intensifying external competition and increasing human capital of employees within the enterprise, the role of corporate culture management in the development of the enterprise is becoming increasingly important and the study of the relations between corporate culture & management and performance is taken more seriously.Firstly, based on the research into corporate culture management at home and abroad, this dissertation builds a system of corporate culture factors in China and establishes a questionnaire on the research into key factors system by making a comparative analysis on corporate culture factors at home and abroad and combining the interviews with 234 people from 32 enterprises. After that, with reference to SPSS13.0 analysis, it puts forward 10 factors constituting corporate culture as follows: factor of employee focus, factor of teamwork and innovation, factor of client focus, factor of objective and perspective, factor of corporate strategy, factor of sector competition, factor of organizational structure, factor of leadership style, factor of social responsibility and factor of institutional coordination. Through the analysis of credibility and efficiency, the questionnaire constructed in this study turns out to be acceptable.Secondly, based on the study of corporate culture constitution, this paper constructs a procedural model and a comprehensive model for the research into corporate culture management and advances some theoretical ideas that the study of corporate culture management chiefly proceeds from culture orientation management, penetration management and intensity management. Guided by some relevant theoretical researches into corporate culture management, the following objectives are achieved: 11 chief factors affecting corporate culture orientation, penetration management and intensity management are found out; a theoretical study model for factors influencing corporate culture management system is set up; 44 propositions in the study of corporate culture management and 3 propositions with regard to the relations between corporate culture management and performance are posed; 4 models for the relations between corporate culture management and performance are established. All this contributes much to providing a theoretical framework for the next empirical study.Thirdly, through an investigation into some enterprises in Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Nanchang, and a small-scale pre-study and pre-analysis, this paper deletes some measuring indexes for corporate culture orientation management, penetration management and intensity management. And then it makes a model verification and a first-degree and second-degree CFA verification for the questionnaires in Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Guangdong and Jiangxi respectively(all the measuring indexes pass the corresponding verification of credibility and efficiency), and analyzes the influences of all factors upon potential variables. Through the verification of SEM, it indicates that 40 of the above-mentioned 44 propositions are correct and the relations between corporate culture orientation management, penetration management and intensity management are positive, stratified and directly or indirectly efficient.Fourthly, on the basis of above-mentioned study, countermeasures for strengthening corporate culture management and approaches to improving performance are advanced through SEM analysis.
