Curriculum is an important way of realizing educational aim and school educating goal. The senior middle school education which is regarded as ending point of compulsory education needs new curriculum reform. It takes up the important task of citizen's quality education. The reform of the curriculum depends on the reform of the people, which takes the development of the teachers as a premise. These factors require the high normal education to widen the extent of the curriculum reform in order to make more qualified senior middle school teachers. This thesis article discusses the problem on the view of the new curriculum reform and can be significant theoretically and practically.Its obvious creating spirit and modem characters mainly express from the following aspects: The new curriculum reform put its educating aim on educating the citizen's quality, catching up with modernization, basic and selective principle in order to rebuild the senior middle school curriculumcontent. It constitute a curriculum structure with base-emphasizing, multiplying, classifying and comprehensive characters. At the same time, it deals well with the relationship between necessary curriculum and the selection curriculum, which makes the subject curriculum and the comprehensive practical curriculum to combine together. It has established a series of system of making studying plans by the students, guiding the student to select subject by themselves, the score managing system andschool-based education research system. It guarantees the efficient practice of the curriculum. The significant change of the new curriculum reform gives the teacher large challenge: It requires the senior middle school teacher to change its old opinion about curriculum, knowledge, teaching and students and instruct as the curriculum creator, learning promoter and teaching researcher. It requires the teacher to constitute rationally their own knowledge structure, and strengthen their expanding ability in implementing the curriculum.But the present high normal curriculum has a lot of shortcoming in curriculum changing, curriculum structure, curriculum content and curriculum implementation. It leads to the lack of teaching training and the ability of the teacher's teaching skill. That makes it not able to undertake the important task of adapting to educating senior middle school teacher who must have the ability of adapting to the new curriculum. It is the high normal education's need to develop in the surrounding of the opened teacher education. It must changes its educational thought method according to its own character in managing education and the requirement of the society to teacher. It must regards educating specialized teacher as its aim in order to reform the high normal education, which includes expanding common education curriculum, rectifying major curriculum, emphasizing educational subjects curriculum, strengthening education practice and paying more attention to the establishing of hiding curriculum.We should insist the creative tendency in implementing the curriculum through establishing efficient teaching system in order to educate a lot of teachers with the ability adapting to the senior middle school curriculum reform and satisfying the needs of our country's education reform and development.
