In recent years, with the great development of vocational education by the government, the large quantities of junior high schools'graduates go to the secondary vocational school. Three years later, they become common laborers in all the fields. Therefore, concerning vocational education is concerning about them. Getting employed is always the most issue of concern for the students. But most of students have poor theoretical foundation and few successful experiences when they enter the school. And they lack of learning goals after entering the school. They didn't improve their abilities and qualities. When they graduate, they do not know what to do and how to do. They are very frustrated. They desire to have a job but they dare not to try it. Although there are lots of reasons to cause this problem, educational experts believe the main reason is that these students lack of career planning. This will bring adverse influence for their job-hunting and long- term development. At present, most of vocational schools are not good at teaching students how to do their career planning. In our country, career planning research focus on a few big cities. And scholars pay more attention to the university students and working staff. Research of career planning for the secondary vocational students is on the first step. Therefore, career planning has been an important topic in the secondary vocational schools.This paper uses different ways, such as observation, summarized method, literature and statistical analysis to describe the concepts of career, career development, career planning and career education. Also analyzes investigation about career planning and education condition in the secondary vocational schools in Guangxi and find the reasons.This paper proposes solutions to solve the problem of students'career planning and measurement for the schools to improve their teaching and get some help from the society. And this paper provides information of teaching way in the secondary vocational school.Nowadays, People have more choices on job hunting and job positions. Working is not only for living, but also is the best way to express yourself. For those vocational school students who have no advantages on education and experience, career planning and having reasonable objective can help them to find a job. From the investigation, we find that the condition of career planning for secondary vocational school students is unoptimistic. It is necessary to make great efforts to guide students to make career planning, help them to find a clear study objective and know more about employer.Secondary Vocational schools need to help students to solve the problem of career planning. "Career awareness" describes concepts of career planning. "Self-exploration" enhances students'self-awareness and help them to make personal choice. "Occupational exploration" helps them to understand the employer. "Environment exploration " gives students the total understanding of social resources. "Career decision-making and planning" helps them to set goals and make action plans. "Careers employment skills and methods of work" helps them to improve their skills and abilities. According to procedures of career planning, secondary vocational schools should have different courses for the different grade students.As the leader of career planning education, secondary vocational schools must have some changes. In the past, they neglected to teach student to make career planning. The course was too simple. They did not have reasonable time arrangement and the teachers were not qualified. All these problems need to be solved. The new measurements including: setting up a system for career planning education in secondary vocational schools, establishing a organization of career planning, making a set of teaching plan, teaching activities, evaluating, and making a whole program of career planning for students from beginning until graduating, training teacher in three-level ("the full-time teaching staff, teaching staff, all the teachers) to improve their skills. This program includes making courses, holding specific topic and reports, psychological consultation, practicum and sharing. This program guides students to make career planning in different ways. We can use different methods to teach students, such as cognitive way, operations, group discussion, role-playing, behavior changing way. According to the specific content, we should design flexible and diverse teaching methods, provoke students'interest and enhance educational result.If secondary vocational school lack of support from students'family and society, it will be difficult to achieve the desired results. Because parents have poor knowledge of career planning and lack of guidance, schools can send some information about career planning to parents, conduct home visits and school visits, and invite parents to participate in teaching activities. In these ways to help parents and guide them, try to get the most support from them.Career planning for vocational education students is still in the exploratory stage. With the economic development, Vocational education should pay more attention to the theories of "people-oriented" and "student-centered", accelerate the pace of change in teaching, integrate resources from school, family and society, improve students'overall qualifications, contribute to our motherland.
