The curriculum resources are new concepts in a curriculum reform. With the development of the curriculum reformation in elementary education in our country, the importantance of curriculum recources are shown day by day. The people are more and more profoundly cognizant of that curriculum recources which are the bases of the elementary education reform. If the curriculum resources do not have the reasonable development and appropriate use, the grand goal of elementary education reform is very difficult to realize. How to use and develop the curriculum resources resonablely is a new challenge for phycics teachers.Therefore, all the physics teachers should have right concption about the curriculum resources, bring the curriculum resources into play , make the best of all kinds of the curriculum resources of school and out of school ,to help for students development and creation.Based on the theory of development and utilization in physics teachers'curriculum resources, this paper defines the range of present conditions in the development and utilization of middle school physics teachers'curriculum resources. Furthermore, we design the questionnaire of present conditions in the development and utilization of middle school physics teachers'curriculum resources in Xinjiang. The main contents include following aspects: development and utilization of teaching resources out of school, experimental teaching resources, and multimedia teaching resources, the development and construction of text resources. By listening to classes and interviewing, we make investigation of the present conditions in the development and utilization of physics teachers'curriculum resources by Chinese teachers in some areas of Xinjiang.The research results revealed that physics teachers got a better understanding in concept of physics curriculum resources. In the development and utilization of physics curriculum resources, some teachers are still at exploring stage, for example, in the development and utilization of multimedia curriculum resources. Some are mature, for instance, in the development and utilization of experimental teaching resources. Based on the investigation of present conditions, this paper provides several suggestions on how physics teachers develop and make use of curriculum resources.
