Effective teaching means that the teacher follows the objective law of the teaching activity, with the less time, energy and material inputs to make as many effects of the teaching as possible so as to achieve specific targets of teaching and meet the social and personal needs of the educational value demand. Say concretely, it is the teaching that should be effective, efficient and beneficial. New curriculum reflects brand-new educational thoughts and concepts. However, that no matter how educational thoughts update and the contents of courses reform should reflect in the teaching course, refect in the teachers' teaching and students' learning, reflect in the teaching effect finally. If there is no or fewer effects in teaching, all goals of teaching will come to nothing, the concept of the curriculum reform can only become beautiful Mirage. Therefore , it is foundation and home of a course reform that the validity of teaching is studied. Therefore, it is the effective teaching research that is the basis and the home for curriculum reform. Considered the geographical theory of the new curriculum, teaching of geography and modern learning theory, and other relevant scientific theory as a guide, based on in the current practice of teaching geography, this thesis explores the relevant theoretical basis of effective teaching of geography, while it also comes up with several implementation strategies of new curriculum effective teaching of geography and analyses practically combined with different modes of teaching.The four parts of this thesis are as follows: the effective teaching theory on the new geographical curriculum; the factors provided by implementation of the new curriculum for geographical effective teaching in secondary schools; the implementation strategy of the new curriculum effective teaching for secondary schools; the geographical effective teaching practice under different modes of teaching.There is a clear definition for the connotation of the concept of effective teaching in the first part "effective teaching of geographical new courses theoretical basis", which also explores the theoretical foundation of the effective teaching, then defines the connotation of the geographical effective teaching.The second part, "the factors provided by implementation of the new curriculum for geographical effective teaching in secondary schools", analyses the drawbacks existed in the traditional geographical teaching, and combines with the new curriculum in order to probe into the curriculum environment provided by implementation of the new curriculum for geographical effective teaching.The third part, "the implementation strategy of the new curriculum effective teaching for secondary schools", concludes that the value of curriculum should be established in geographical ffective teaching through the exploration of the orientation of the value of geographical effective teaching and the summation of the standard of geographical effective teaching. Found on these, this part also explores the effective implementation strategies of the various aspects of the teaching links thoroughly based on this combination of teaching preparation, teaching implementation, teaching evaluation as well as the reflection on the three blocks.The fourth part, "the geographical effective teaching practice under different modes of teaching", on the basis of the aforementioned geographical effective teaching theory, it combines with the current typical teaching of teaching, inquiry teaching and research study, selects and designs the geographical effective teaching strategies by the analysis of geographical curriculum standards and the teaching content, and teaching practice is already in progress. Based on the analysis of teaching practice, This part goes on the teaching reflection and a specific application to the geographical effective teaching strategies.Finally, this thesis summarizes the main viewpoints according to the theory of new geographical effective teaching and practice summary , the study also points out that in the remaining deficiencies and is subject to the direction and focus of the further study.
