After 28 years' development, Self-taught Examination of Higher Education (SEHE) has trained and cultivated a large quantity of talented people for the progress of our society and the development of our economy, which makes significant contributions to the construction of our society. 28 years later, faced with new challenges and environments, SEHE has to be reformed to adapt to the change. The curriculum of SEHE, which is important content for SEHE and a special way to connect SEHE and our society, is the core of the talented training. This article focuses on the reforms, trying to investigate the curriculum, the present situation and trend of the curriculum reform for SEHE.Firstly, this research analyzes the necessity of study on the curriculum reform of SEHE. Secondly, from the historical perspective, and through ways of investigation and literature analysis, this research studies and analyzes of SEHE curriculum reform, which is the foundation for further study; Next, from the reality perspective, and by interview and case analysis, this research describes the present situation of SEHE curriculum reform in Fujian Province, and analyze its questions, find out those reasons for it. Finally, based on the previous analysis and discussion, this reseach try to find those incentive factors for deepening the SEHE curriculum reform. Based on the present situation and exsited problems, this research put forward some countermeasures, and forcast the developing trend of the SEHE curriculum reform.In this research, we believe that the curriculum reform of SEHE result from the interaction between the internal improvement and external environment development. The internal contradictions of SEHE curriculum include curriculum structure, quantity, content and management etc, while the external are from the political, economic, and educational aspects etc. Thus, in the process of the SEHE curriculum, we must tell the different relationship between the internal and the external, so in this way, all problems are able to be better dealt with. Secondly, in the reform, there is also a gap between the ideal and reality. The ideal aspects are the expectations from candidates and society to the reform; however, there would be many realistic problems to be faced in the reform. And the results cannot meet the request of social and economic development, so it is necessary to balance the relations between. Only the reform updating with the time can completely show the advantages of rules. With continuous innovation and growth, the contribution will be more to the China's Socialist construction.
