Research On Specialized Subject Construction Of The Newly-established Undergraduate Colleges In Guangxi

With the development of mass higher education in China, there are a large number of new undergraduate colleges established through the means of "the merger of institutions" and "Upgrading from Associate Level to Bachelor Level". The emergence of these undergraduate colleges adapts to the needs of mass higher education, and gradually become the fresh force of higher education popularization. In Guangxi, there are eight new undergraduate colleges have been established from 2000 to 2009, accounts to 40% of the total number of undergraduate colleges in the province. Subject specialty is a basic component element of a college; specialized subject construction is also the fundamental one in colleges'development. With the increase of the new undergraduate colleges in Guangxi, and their rising status in higher education popularization process, more and more people pay their attentions to the specialized subject construction in these newly-established colleges. This paper will take the eight newly-established undergraduate colleges in Guangxi as the research object, analyze their current status of the specialized subject construction and the disciplines structural adjustment in recent years by using the methods of historical research, documentary research, data analysis, and investigation…etc, try to find out the existing problems, and on this basis, put forward some suggestions in further improve the newly-established undergraduate colleges'specialized subject construction, and so that can serve the practices of these construction in Guangxi.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part propose the main research problems, and expound the purpose, significance, ideas, methods, and the home and abroad research status of the research. The second part is mainly defines the concepts about this study and analyzed the necessity of newly-established undergraduate colleges'specialized subject construction and structural adjustment.The third part mainly in the understanding of the eight newly-established undergraduate colleges, research the newly-established undergraduate colleges'specialized subject construction status, analyzed and researched the situation of specialized subjects structural adjustment through the data statistics and analysis of newly-established colleges'Recruiting Scheme in recent years, and then put forward the problems in the newly-established undergraduate colleges'specialized subject construction.The fourth part is mainly aim at the problems before-mentioned, put forward some suggestions in further improve the newly-established undergraduate colleges'specialized subject construction.Part V is inductive summary of the full text.
