| Farmers in China account for80%of the developing countries, but due tovarious reasons, the economy and education in most rural areas are seriously laggingbehind cities. The education in rural schools, especially the education of sports andhealth are ignored and marginalized. And to develop farmers’ physical qualities, thephysical education should be paid attention to. Only in the physical education in thecounty and township grass-roots, has it been possible to reach the purpose of healthfor all. Beginning in2008, the education resources in parts of the cities and countiesin Kunming have been integrated to comprehensively improve the quality of primaryand secondary school education, to optimize the allocation of resources, and topromote the sustainable and healthy development of the countryside elementaryeducation; Instead of the "village school" way, the teaching resources in nearbyschools were consolidated, the consistent nine-year compulsory education werecarried out. Under such circumstances, the research on the sports and health coursesduring consistent nine-year compulsory education is of great significance.In the past researches in rural sports teaching, however, most of them are onpresent situation in physical education in primary schools and middle schools, whileit isolates the physical education teachers, the equipment and the investment, etc. inmiddle and primary schools. Few of them are done on comprehensive resources in thephysical education and health during consistent nine-year compulsory education. Thisarticle uses various methods, including the literature materials, questionnaire surveys,expert interviews, field visits, mathematical statistics, case studies etc, regarding theconsistent nine-year compulsory education schools in rural areas in one city, onedistrict, seven counties in Kunming as the research object. Through field trips to theseschools, this paper is trying to do an in-depth investigation and analysis for sports andhealth courses and carry out a comprehensive research according to the presentsituation in rural schools in Kunming. Results are shown as follows:(1) The studentsare interested in a few sports items, and they lack the knowledge about sports.(2)management system in nine-year compulsory education hasn’t been formed; sportshasn’t been fully embodies in the whole education system.(3) The number of PE teachers, as well as the proportion of teachers and students is unbalanced, whichmeans the teachers’ workload is too heavy; the ratio of male and female PE teachers isalso imbalanced, though the education background of Physical education teachers isgradually ascending, and the age structure is more reasonable.(4) The sports venuesare not enough, while the sports equipment can meet the needs, but utilization rate islow.(5) The teaching plan, content and implementation are not standard,and teachingconflict is obvious.(6) The natural geography resources is not very applied well inphysical education teaching.(7) There are not many accesses to information resourcesabout sports.According to the characteristics of school physical education and health teaching,on the basis of investigating and analyzing the present situation of sports and healthcurriculum resources in the nine-year compulsory education in rural areas, overallphysical education teaching contents should be arranged on the standard of qualityeducation. The teaching resources should be used in reasonable organization, and theorganization of teachers human resources should be improved. The sports ground andequipment resources should be efficiently combined. Make the teaching outline andteaching plan about physical education and health for nine-year compulsory education,reduce the conflict in teaching sports and health. Broaden the schools’ sportsinformation resources, expand the teachers and students view, and provide a moreprofound content to meet different need of students, etc. Finally, taking the situationof Shaxiang in Xundian county’s nine-year compulsory education as a case, the paperassociates "two-way" integration mode, surveys Jiada primary schools and seniorschools about the schools’ sports teaching resources for scientific and reasonableintegration, making the school sports education, family sports and community sportsand other physical education resources integrate for the healthy growth of the students,to improve the quality of school physical education teaching, and cultivate students’interest in sports and form the consciousness of lifelong sports. |
