In information age nowadays, education has been the foundation of a nation with thedevelopment of science and technology as well as human society, and the challenge ofknowledge economy and international competition. It has been the historical mission ofeducation to deepen education reforms and cultivate the high quality and talented personwith the innovative spirit and practical abilities. The traditional education model, educationmethod and education content have been important influenced by the development ofmodern educational technology, especially the extensive application of modern educationaltechnology based on multi-media and network technology. It should be emphasized that,education in school is still one of the most important education forms, and classroom isstill one of the main fields. Furthermore, it is one of the important subjects of educationalreforms to study the methods and principles of education in school and classroomeducation under the environment of modern information technology and network. However,for a long time, to application of information technology more attention has been paid bydomestic and foreign educational circles to educational management, the second classroomand the courses of information technology than the application of IT into other subjectcourses. In this situation , it is pointed out by educational experts that the main applicationfield of information technology should be changed to education in school which is thesubject of the classroom education , and the school education reforms as soon as possiblefrom other fields, which could realize Blending learning that integrates classroomeducation and e-learning. Blending learning model based on the integration of e-learningand traditional classroom education, could be advantageous no only to master knowledgeand skills systematically, but also to cultivate students' creative abilities, cooperativeabilities, thoughts for questing differences, thoughts for criticism and exploring spirit. Ithas been a research hotspot of domestic and foreign vocational education how to useBlending learning to cultivate students' creative spirit and practical abilities after theymaster theoretical knowledge systematically, and cultivate students' self-study andlife-long learning capability who are instructed by secondary vocational education.The thesis analyses every part of the Blending learning in secondary vocationaleducation in detail, which based on sufficient explanation on Blending learning theory andutilization of modern instructional design. And then, the thesis studies and explores how todevelop Blending learning in discipline education of secondary vocational educationthrough designing and applying the cases with the help of action research methods.The first chapter discusses the significance of choosing this subject and the presentresearch situation based on explaining the characteristic of secondary vocational education.In the second chapter, it gives a brief explanation of the definition, the connotation,the ideal incarnated and the theoretical foundation of Blending learning, in addition, thethesis discusses the basic theories of instructional design and the action research method.The third chapter deals with the content that Blending learning is superior totraditional classroom education and e-learning with analyzing the advantages anddisadvantages of classroom instruction and e-learning.The fourth chapter of the article gives detailed presentation about the instructionaldesign process of Blending learning, which is composed of six parts, that is, analyzingstudents' feature, determining learning goals, choosing media and channel, implementinglearning activities, accelerating knowledge transferring and evaluating learning results.The fifth chapter conducts application study of Blending learning instructionaldesign in secondary vocational education through action research method based on myinstructional practice. And then, I suggest that we improve steps and means of instructionaldesign by designing, implementing, observing and reflecting three instructional cases.Blending learning is more and more advocated by instructional workers as aneffectively instructional form in the course of integrating IT into curricula. I hope that, thethesis could provide available theories and measures for developing Blending learning inall kinds of teaching.
