Group Counseling has been very popular in the field of school education in China since1990s. Theory study and practice exploration mainly focus on localization and reinforcing operational approach in high school, so it will benefit student’s development and educational reform.As a high school instructor, the author finds ordinary class meeting contains the huge development opportunity for Class Group Counseling. Through documentation analysis and theory demonstration, the author advances (modifies) the concept and function of Class Group Counseling. Based on the study status, the author tries to find the theoretical basis, discuss the differences between class meeting and Class Group Counseling, and explore the meaning and method of Class Group Counseling in class meeting. In order to enhance the effect of Class Group Counseling, the author suggests instructor should change content, structure, function and organization of class meeting, and pay attention to perception, value-orientation and ethical standards in operation. |
